Buy Bench Dog, the feather board is CRASH!

As soon as I got this I knew the slider and block would be the only useful things. Buy it separately. Bench Dog is a great feather board that is worth every penny you spend. This is what I ended up getting and have been using for three months with no problems.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • No

Not worth the money

I bought this a long time ago and was only able to use the pusher because the other two items are useless. The feather board is so poorly designed and manufactured that it will not stay on my table saw. I think I wasted my money on this. I should have just gone to Laws and bought some benchdog accessories.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Save your fingers: Power tools and hand tools

Push rod and push block are excellent products. The feather board is a bit questionable though. The plastic feet used to attach the device are a bit too big for the cutout and need to be tucked in. It holds your wood well there, although adjusting is a little clumsy. Overall, this isn't a bad buy for the money, but you can easily make your own.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • I'm silent

Garbage! Garbage! Garbage! - You get what you pay for!

The perforated plate was complete scrap. I was able to "assemble" it and insert it into the slot of the table saw. Every time I tried to run past him, he would unzip, come disassembled, or just not do what he was supposed to. If you buy this set you will end up with a mediocre thrust block and get stuck. The ones I made out of hardwood are way better than this one.

  • GOLS certificate

Half Star - Power Tool & Hand Tool

I'm only giving this tool a half star because it was a "kit" as advertised. Only here is the manufacturer/dealer right. A pusher and stick can be made at home for a dime. The suspension system on the springs is a total failure. You can't fix a perforated board in a table groove and turn it into a reliable work accessory. Amazing that this set is still for sale. A loose and unreliable perforated plate in my opinion, possibly an accident waiting in the wings. Not mine. It's at the landfill.

works great great for power tool parts and accessories

The rod with springs should be secured in the T-slots with these thin square stamped "nuts". I haven't been able to get them to work, but the standard method (no t-nut) pulls out a cone head screw that pushes out the plastic and it holds up very well. Perforated board isn't as strong as wood but seems to hold up pretty well, how much pressure does it take to press the wood against the fence? (I reply to negative reviews here). A push bar is needed for a table saw, a push block would be more…

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • A few small things
