Essential for kayaks!

My pleasure kayak is a seat kayak without a drain plug. When I passed the threshold I got some water. I just grabbed my handle and could pump it out while I was literally still in the boat, or I could board. It's quick and easy to use. The amount of water it drains in a short time is a pleasant surprise.

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • Repair

Too uncomfortable to use

You can't use the pump quickly. Pulling out the pump handle is easy, but reinserting it is tricky: the pump shaft bends and gets stuck when you pull it back. Considering the small amount of water this pump handles and the slow fighting power when using, this pump is not very suitable. for more than a small amount of water in a hard-to-reach place where the scoop won't work

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are some disadvantages

Bilge pumps need rework

I've been trying for several days to fix the kink in the hose on this bilge pump with no success. It was twisted and still is twisted, and one end was twisted so tight that it keeps bending. It is impossible to hold the drain hose with one hand and pump with the other. It takes three hands and I only have two. I have contacted the seller but there is still no answer to my problem.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Nothing here

Cleaned me up right away.

I had a big lunch. much more than usual. It's safe to say my hold was full! So I ordered it for same day delivery. As soon as he arrived, I shoved that tube down my throat and pumped it out. I pumped and pumped and pumped more, the current set in and I felt my hold emptying. After more frantic pumping I felt a lot better and my hold was empty. That saved the day. Remember kids, eat in moderation. Especially at taco shops.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in black

Hose makes it unusable

Hose was wrapped tightly and the cable tie was so tight that it has a permanent kink. The hose is also very stiff and "hardened" into a permanent coil, requiring you to use two hands to straighten the hose to direct the water being pushed out. Because two hands are required to hold and use the pump, 2 people are required to use it, making it useless in most situations. It seems to work well with flexible rubber tubing instead of hard plastic.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good for the price.

Works fairly well Water flows into a pair of threaded tips Walter flows on the shaft. Times to drain the water. It is also necessary to remove the core hose to drain the storage water. I've found that by breaking off the small ribs on the bottom I can pump most of the water out of the hull efficiently. The spacer tabs allowed for plenty of air to be sucked in when you were nearing completion. I understand the idea of a prop, but it will do if the water level is high enough just to keep it at an

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good pump, pressure hose problem

The pump appears to be of acceptable quality. The drain hose arrived rolled up tightly, exactly as shown in the promotional photo. It can be adjusted by hand, but compresses like a spring when you let go. No bending, twisting or stretching convinced the hose to stay straight enough. This allows the pump to be operated with three hands: one hand holding the pump body, one hand holding the pump handle, and one hand holding the end of the tubing at the injection site (otherwise it would roll back…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some difficulties

It worked, but a second person would have made it easier.

I have successfully evacuated a tub using a fountain pump. The only difficulty was that the hose was short, stiff and heavily twisted. It took me two hands to hold and operate the pump mechanism and a third hand to hold the hose in the bucket I was pumping water into. It was almost impossible to keep the hose in the bucket. I would make the hose longer, more flexible overall, and not too twisted, or add a hose connector at the end to screw onto the hose, which could then transport the water to…

  • Compatibility

Works well but there are pumps for the same price that work better.

Purchased this bilge pump to replace the one I have been using for a few decades. This one works well but isn't as efficient or easy to use as the old one. Also seems less able to handle very dirty water. Cleans well. Currently, it is mainly used to quickly empty the pool filter of dirty water when cleaning the filters. Also used to drain holes in the ground to repair damaged irrigation pipes. Found my old bilge pump on sale and bought a new one - it works just like the old one. However, this…
