My son is autistic so it's hard to know if the shoes will fit him. Not with these though - we can literally see if they fit or not, and they do true to size.

Wide shoes don't suit me either. I followed all the instructions for measuring the foot and removed the sole from one of the shoes. I will not buy these shoes again.

I bought them in "wide" because my granddaughter uses AFO. Her mother said that unfortunately it is not easy to close shoes. Otherwise we liked the shoes and would have given a 5 if the fit had been as expected. Thanks.

The shoes came without a box (just in a plastic bag) and were wrinkled. There was also some kind of glue on the side of the shoe. I wanted to exchange but didn't have the right size left which was a shame. We decided to just let them. The shoes themselves work well with orthotics but I wish they came unused and properly packaged.

This bully shoe is a must have for any kid using any type of foot brace. The full-length front zip makes it easier to put on the shoes, so that even my child with fine motor skills problems can do it on his own. It also withstands all the stresses she throws at them.

We love these shoes. My daughter has ankle braces and had trouble putting her shoes on. They also wear out shoes quickly. Not now. We bought a few of these to try and have since bought more and love them very much.

I love these shoes for my 4 year old! He wears an AFO corset on one leg and you can take the insoles out of his shoes. I can't even tell he has a splint on one leg. They are also very comfortable for him!

These shoes are great for my granddaughter who wears AFO. They are very easy to put on with their little suspenders. We want some in every color.

This new wider version of the Billy shoe allowed us to downsize the shoe (the toes were always too long to make them wide enough) and have the perfect fit. I hope that in the future they will offer other colors/materials for these shoes as many children with orthotics will benefit from these shoes.

Our four year old grandson has cerebral palsy so he wears braces on the back of his shoes. Billy's is the only shoe that offers space yet is comfortable, closes easily and looks super cute! He also has a gray pair.

The shoes fit perfectly with my little one's very wide feet and braces. The laces were a bit small, but nothing serious. I have already bought Billy for your son who wears braces but these are by far the worst I have ever bought. For a family that has relied on billies for the simplicity of shoes instead of suspenders, I am very disappointed in this company and model. Please don't buy them. My 4.5 year old daughter with trisomy 21 wears SMO braces. She has been wearing the shoes for about a week and these shoes go well with her suspenders. The photos show a small gap between the braces and the side of the shoe. When supporting my daughter's foot, the brace expands and that space disappears. I measured her foot and ordered size 9.
