Bilstein 24 011402 Absorber Supersedes F4 B46 1140 H2 Review

Really good product. My '88 4Runner runs noticeably smoother. In terms of installation, it was easy except removing the original dampers. Quite rusty/encrusted on the vehicle considering they have probably been on the vehicle since 1988!

These Bilstein shocks were supposed to replace some worn out Rancho rear shocks on my 1988 4-Runner. The new Rancho shocks were rough/stiff. I've had Bilsteins up front and they were still going strong. The Bilstein rear wheels were not present when I last changed the shock absorbers. This time I installed Bilstein shock absorbers and am very happy with them. Such an improvement in driving both on and off-road. I read somewhere that Bilstein shocks last longer. It is true.

I've thought a lot about what shocks to buy for my '94 Toyota pickup and decided on Bilstein shocks and I'm SO happy about it. There are many alternatives to shock absorbers and most of them are cheaper, but the amount saved is not worth buying inferior parts. Buy the right and best parts first and you don't have to do it again. Bilstein makes some of the best shocks in the world and has breathed new life into my Yota. He's like new again!
