You need these 5100 Bilstein

The best shocks I've ever put on my 4Runner. I liked it so much that I bought another set for my other 4runner. A bit pricey but worth every penny. Will definitely buy again

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Nothing here

Inaccurate description, too short. 24 inches, not 26.8.

The description was inaccurate. It said these shocks were 26.8 inches long, which would be ideal. That's why I ordered them. I understand them and they are TOO SHORT! They measure 24 inches, not 26.8 as advertised. So I don't have $188 and have to send it back. What a nightmare. Change your description. waiting for my return I had to shell out money before I got my money back. Not good!

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Absolutely love 5100s

Absolutely love 5100s. I have them in my 99 4runner and the ride is great. I had to buy these 1 to replace 1 so called tech cutout from my truck. The bottom bolt fell out while driving and my wife drove to the 'store' where they charged her $40 to have it removed. The top nut is hard to get to, but there's no reason to cut the piston on a $90 shock. Mind you, it costs $200 at your local Advance. Just because you have the tools doesn't make you a technician. If anyone knows of a reputable shop…
