Big shocks! - shock absorber

I had a 5100 kit on my 09 f150 and they did a great job. Now with 14 f150 it's time to switch and go back to Bilstein. Excellent finish and fit as always. The ride is smooth and reliable.

Husband likes them on shock absorbers, struts and suspension

They arrived and he installed them the next day (before the cold weather). He looked quite a bit and said they were fairly inexpensive and easy to install. Recommended by more than one website.

Definitely an update from the OEM!

I had to stiffen my ride to tow a trailer and these dampers helped eliminate rebound. I replaced the stock rear shocks on my 2014 F-150 Lariat and can say they helped (not too hard and not too soft). In my situation, the replacement was easy (maybe 15-20 minutes to remove and replace the old ones).

Very good product, nice that I spend the extra money and.

Most weeks, I drive my truck around the streets towing something big or small, and when I have time I drive through the desert on washed roads or sand. With them, I noticed an improvement in the car's handling and comfort across the board. Very good product, I'm glad I spent the extra money and got it. Would do it again in a second.

Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Suitable for f150 2014. Ride is much better.

I replaced the shocks on my 2014 f150 and am very happy with the performance and ride. My truck has done less than 50km but the rear end bounces and bounces on freeway or country road bumps. The price of these two is worth solving this problem. It's still a truck, and with no cargo in the back it's still tough, but it's a lot more comfortable to drive. No need to remove the wheels, park the truck, remove two bolts on each shock and install new ones.
