Very good quality shock absorbers that look great!

I installed them on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD. The truck has 130,000 and the shock absorbers were factory OEM. I was a bit worried at first as it was very hard and I could feel every stone on the road, but after a few weeks they rubbed in pretty well. I love to ride. It's stiff enough to feel confident cornering, but not so stiff that you can (now) feel every bump in the road. They were easy to install after I pulled out the old ones which was a complete headache.

My trip has improved a lot!

These shock absorbers are amazing. I installed them on my 2012 Ram 2500 and it feels like I have a brand new truck. The stock shocks are pure garbage and have no rebound at all. TIPS: Make sure you save the zip ties on the rear shocks before installing them. Do not cut them until they are installed on the truck. Front: I installed my shock absorbers and did a level on my truck at the same time, but you can install them without too much trouble. The trick is to press down on the shock absorberโ€ฆ

Worth the effort - Parts

My truck has low mileage, 80,000 for 2005 but lives in New England, road salt/brine ruins all metal hence lots of rust. I replaced the original Bilstein 4200 (?) and the lower parts were so rusty that I decided to replace them before they failed. Seventeen 17 years old and they actually still had a lot of life, which means they were still working and not floating. The distance was a bear, seriously. The old bolts were intact and the nuts were tight, but I bought 2 new sets (4 bolts) for theโ€ฆ

Great ride to date even when towed

I had rancho shocks and broke down once on a 7000. I tried to contact the seller and the manufacturer, but was unsuccessful in getting a warranty on the shock absorbers. The 7000 were discontinued and should be switched. So the warranty was voided because the seller said I should pay for the 9000s and send them the 7000s and then they would decide what would be covered by the warranty. Guaranteed to put the bad taste in your mouth. I got a Bilstein 5100 based on a search for the best shockโ€ฆ

Amazing Product = 5 Stars / Supplier Customer Service Terrible = 1 Star

I ordered Bilstein shocks for my Dodge Ram 3500 after numerous recommendations from colleagues and family members. The shock absorbers are absolutely amazing but I will no longer patronize the seller and cannot honestly recommend them for use. Their customer service is lacking and needs improvement immediately. I planned on installing all four shocks over Memorial Day weekend. A few days before removing the old shock absorbers, I decided to check the condition of the contents and make a partsโ€ฆ

Great hits for my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 5.7L Quad Cab!

Monotube shocks are as good as they get before you get custom shocks from manufacturers like Fox and King. I've been wearing them for a few days now and they're great! A little stiff but I understand that over time they will "break in" and make for a smoother ride. In any impact, raise the truck by the frame, not the axle, for maximum extension. No need to disassemble the wheels, just put in the front shock absorbers first. Be sure to remove the top hardware first and a decent exposure reallyโ€ฆ
