You get what you pay for

This will NOT work in my vw beetle, toyota rav4 or volvo s70. It's just sad, I tried it on 3 different computers and it didn't work on any of them. the fabric is too long even for my SUV, I don't like the fact that the elastic cords have hooks at the ends. I tried using MacGyver but to no avail. My 5 month old pup would unmistakably press it down and jump over it every time. Now I'm going to spend $50 on metal like I should have.

Absolutely useless for dogs

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most useless pet barrier I've ever seen. Completely misleading, nowhere does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport fit. Also, it doesn't fit, even if it does, there's no way to screw the cable. They sent me 4 clumsy cables and 2 completely useless other cables. The net has 6 holes at the top and 6 at the bottom, so your pet can still fit through at the top or bottom. Don't waste your money on cheap junk, buy something that actually works.

Good quality and good price

Good quality and good price. My 2017 Honda CRV didn't have room for a top bracket, so I took a 48 inch long rubber bolt, threaded it through the top grommets and placed the top over the rear headrests. Not ideal as I have to take it off when there are people in the back seat. It would be helpful if the manufacturer provided various examples and ways of attaching the net. Either provide some instructions (there weren't any) or provide a link to YouTube with examples.

Do not buy this product without reading it first.

This product appears to have been used and returned. It's dirty, torn, and the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. The bag was dirty and dusty, small parts were missing, one sleeve had been completely removed and was in the bag, and one sleeve had been partially torn from its place in the material. In fact, you can see a dirty stain that appears to have been left by a pet. Come on, I've bought 1000 items from Amazon and I've never gotten anything nasty like this. It almost looks like a…

Not perfect but very helpful on our trip

We have 3 small dogs that like to be in the front of the car. We bought this barrier for a long car ride to keep at our backs. The rental car was a Toyota Rav 4 and this barrier was almost too small but we managed. I have to say it's more durable than I expected. The materials are not cheap or flimsy. There was room at the top and either side and if my dogs were more stubborn they could slip past. Also, a large dog could likely overpower or bypass him if he were determined. However, it worked…

It works out. at Carriers & Travel Products

We currently use this to divide the center row of a Honda Odyssey minivan so our dog doesn't upset the other one. She seeks comfort from him, but he doesn't like it. We installed it between the front right passenger's headrest and the 2nd row headrest behind the driver's seat to make a diagonal cut across the middle row. (The center seat was removed.) I cut the top seam and inserted a thin wooden dowel to give it some structure (the standard length dowel from Home Depot is perfect). The bottom…

Bring back the mesh barrier. Hold onto the dog's harness.

The combination of guy ropes and a grid is a good idea in theory, but it doesn't work in practice. The sieve should be wider. I've never developed a really effective arrangement. It took too long to install and my Subaru Forester didn't have enough room to attach the elastic cords to create a strong barrier. Maybe I'll figure it out after another 500 tries, but I don't think it's possible. On the other hand, the free dog harness that comes with it is great. It saved the day because it fitted…

Holds all 60 pounds of a dog in the back seat

So far this barrier is working well. One of my 60 pound rescuers once decided to jump in the front seat to bark at a cat as I was pulling into my garage. He grabbed my hand, jerked the steering wheel, and had me mark the front fender in the garage. Since then he has decided that he has the first dibs on my center console. With every trip to the park, he constantly had to be pushed back or tried to block him with his hand. It arrived yesterday, took only a few minutes to install and completely…

Very satisfied! Feel free to order this, even for cats!

I was concerned about the negative reviews for this product but because of the good reviews I decided to give it a try. WOW, so glad I did this. Firstly, the quality of the chicken wire, clasps and grommets is excellent - durable and well made. The bungee is good and strong. We have a Honda Pilot just FYI and this net fits snugly and securely as shown in the online description and attaches to the hand levers on either side above the doors. Getting in and out of the front seats is not a problem…
