Please note that there is only 800 grams of thread on the spool, not 1 kg. As of this writing it is not listed anywhere in the description. Instead, like everyone else, they listed a shipping weight of 2.4 pounds instead of the thread's actual weight. The standard spool of thread is 1kg and the description should indicate if it differs. The packaging says 800 grams +- 3% but you won't be able to see that until you've received your order.
