Good reliable tool

The DR201K is a robust and lightweight variable speed drill. Its grip is ergonomically designed to fit the hand and the trigger is designed to be operated with two fingers, making it easier to use over long periods of time. The speed is easily adjustable from a maximum of several revolutions per minute. At full speed, it won't overheat even when it's on and running against resistance for 5 minutes or more. Good performance but inconvenient

Overall the drill worked pretty well considering how much you pay for it. It doesn't have huge amounts of torque compared to an expensive drill, very reliable jaws, or long stroke (variable speed trigger), but again, it's as good or better than you'd expect at this price point. The main issues I encountered were ergonomic. Along the back is a sharp comb with extra sharp corners at the level slot; Level is a good idea but I didn't find it useful. Good but not perfect

I've had this drill for a while now and while I'm relatively happy with it there are two things that really irk me. First, the lack of a chuck key sometimes causes the drill to slip under heavy loads. This has often happened to me with round shank drills. My workaround was to buy drill bits with shafts that have at least one flat side. This solves the problem, but these flat side drills are more expensive. Secondly, the actuation function is hard and does not allow the user to simply use this…
