Super convenient as I can leave the exhaust fan on in the bathroom to finish drawing out humidity after a shower and not have to worry about coming back to turn it off later. I'm also a big fan of having my lights very dim when if I ever turn them on in the morning or evening.As easy to install as a regular 'dumb' switch.

Nice integrated switch. Bought this to use with my Panasonic recessed fan/light. On delivery, realized the Panasonic unit was CFL. Note that this dimmer does NOT work with CFL bulbs. Had I read the instructions beforehand, I'd have known it. No big deal as I had another nearby incandescent fixture and swapped the circuits. This timer takes the remembering out of when to shut off the vent fan.

I had trouble finding a switch that would work for our bathroom light and our bathroom fan without it being a double gang. This single gang fits perfectly into the space we have without having to modify the wall. of course, since it is Lutron, it is well made and fits with our other Lutron switches in the house. Very nice!

Received in 2 switches. LOVE the design and concept. Price was exceptional IF it worked. Unfort with regular bulbs there was a buzzing from the bulbs (3x60W) and it seemed like it couldn't deliver enough power to FAN with or without the lights on. SO switched to LEDs (3x15W), the switch itself buzzed with LEDs and the lights wouldn't turn all the way off. After discovering that the three switches in our box were on two different circuits, we had to find a timer switch that worked with a double Decora switch.This worked great, we use it in our bathroom. That said, despite my protests, my boyfriend left the CFLs in both the fan light and the tub light. This switch doesn't work with CFL or LED, the lights will flicker when you use the switch. Works well as specified. Would be 5 stars if they offered this product to dim LED. That apparently is not available in this configuration (timer + dimer in single gang). Works fine with incandescent, intermittent flashing with LED at full light.

Worked well for a remodeled bathroom where I only had room for a single outlet box to control the lights and put the fan on a timer.Note that this is built for incandescent light bulbs. I had two LED bulbs on the circuit initially and they wouldn't turn off due to a low residual current. I swapped one out for a traditional 65 watt incandescent flood light bulb to increase the resistance and it works perfectly now. I can't find a comparable product for LED bulbs so we will stick with this one.

If you started out with a light and a switch, and you wanted a fan/light, combo, this is the thing to use at the switch end. You can dim the light and set the fan to a certain time to go off after you leave, or set it to stay on indefinitely, say if there was a spill, for example.

I purchased two of these switches AFTER talking to a Panasonic tech rep because I wanted to install them with a new bathroom vent fan FV 11VHL2. I gave Panasonic the specific switch model, and they said these would work. Well they DONT work for this. The dimmer part never shuts all the way off. The switch does exactly what I want, but takes some getting used to. I replaced a double switch, so it fit right where the old one was. When the light is off, it still flickers like it is trying to come on. It has been double and triple checked but the configuration is correct according to the instructions included. The fan that runs on the timer switch works great.

The dimmer is connected to an incandescent light (not sure if it will work with LED) and works great to provide a little light when you need some in the middle of the night or a lot during the day. Does exactly what it is designed to do. I had heard somewhere that you should run your bathroom fan for three times the length of your shower.but i am out the door two minutes after my shower, hence a need for the timer. The light switch gradually brings the light up to full brightness, which seems easier on my eyes first thing in the morning.

Exactly what we needed! We have a bathroom with multiple stacked light switches and we wanted to install a timer for the bathroom fan. After a lot of searching for a fan timer that was designed for stacked switch. It was the only one I could find that met our needs (and I've taken classes on searching the web.really.) Install was easy! And, you can set a default time for the fan and default brightness for the light that are easily adjustable.

Very good. Have Panasonic high efficiency bathroom fan on the timer. Had 3 vanity led lights on top dimmer switch and was having issues with the fan cutting on and off. Changed out one of the led bulbs to an incandescent bulb and now everything works great. You cannot just run led bulbs on this switch.
