My daughter is an amateur artist and wanted these hands to help her model/draw hands. She loves it. I can't say that it will make you a better artist, but I can say that it's a good model to help you draw hands or hand positions.

Pretty standard wooden mannequin with two arms, one left and one right. In itself it's nothing special (you can even find identical ones at IKEA), but it's nice that it's available in pairs at a better price than most other mannequins. The wrist doesn't seem to rotate and some of the articulations feel a little wonky and unrealistic, but they're easy to position and a good guide for artists and decorators alike.

This product can be a nice novelty. However, it is very difficult to get the knuckles in a position that would be useful for artists practicing realistic hand drawing. In fact, trying to move the thumb of one hand resulted in that thumb breaking off. I will repair this damage myself as it would be unreasonable for me to ask for a refund.
