It would be nice if it worked!

I've been waiting a long time for this to arrive from China. I ordered it based on the high ratings other people gave it, because it's very difficult to find a reliable USB hub that does a good job of backing up to external hard drives. Well my hopes were not met with this one. I plugged it in and connected my devices to it. I noticed that the connectors were a bit loose, but the cables seemed to stay in place, so I pressed the buttons and tried accessing my external hard drives. They were…

My Samsung printer (not USB 3.0) is not recognized in Windows 10 when I plug it into a hub, or when recognized it prints 1/3 of the first page of a document, but then stops, requiring the paper to be pulled out to reset the printer. Any ideas? Many Thanks. If I can solve this problem I'll be happy to give this product 5 stars, even though my external hard drives (WD Elements 1TB) don't work when connected to this port).

Simple, useful, durable.

Sturdy construction, very handy for so many outlets. Didn't get 5 stars due to one outlet's backlight shining on the neighbors and it's hard to turn off. In addition, the permanently arriving connector is impractical. It limits the distance. (Although the incoming wire is exceptionally thick and strong). The velcro pad on the bottom makes it durable and helps to press the buttons.

Great for all-in-ones

I have a new all-in-one, the USB ports are on the back and you have to rotate the monitor every time you use the port want. To hell with that. This hub works great. Plug it in and you're good to go. The power buttons let me leave things like the scanner on, but turn them off when not in use. No more connecting and disconnecting. LED indicators show you at a glance which port is on or off. My smartphone's charging cable is now right in front of me and I don't have to plug it into a power outlet.

Great hub with a few small bugs.

I love the flexibility of this hub with individually controlled ports and a permanent charging port. The delivery took a long time as it was shipped from China. I'm not sure if Revane will take on these jobs in the future, but it would be an improvement. The price was very good and the transfers were lightning fast. My only issue was a small bug in Windows 10. Be sure to set up the hub in the What to do with removable storage app that pops up during installation. Set it to "Take no action"…

Very reliable USB 3 hub

My first thought was that it just wouldn't work. It has a ridiculously short built-in USB cable, so I had to use an extension cord. I used the USB 2 extender I had and it just didn't work. So I applied and got a return authorization. Before returning, however, I decided to try something else. I bought a USB 3 extension cable and now it works exactly as advertised and expected.
