Strong base, slightly trimmed ends

My 3m broke on a barely tightened screw on the first day of use. Stuck in a bolt and a huge headache. You don't even have to contact Bondhus to get a replacement. I'm just disappointed. I work on mail gear, nothing crazy. That should not have happened.

Excellent quality, more than I expected

I was hoping I could fit some of the parts into some of the terminals but it is a full quarter inch to the ball and only the ball is scaled down making it suitable for this application not work. I will go ahead and stay with them because they are Bondhus and the price was great.

Take it out of the packaging and throw it straight into the bin.

No matter what the Bondhus guarantee these bits are rubbish. One had his head broken almost immediately with Chapman's tool. Thought it might be a coincidence but switched to a different size with a screwdriver handle. Banged like the first. This is nothing short of the quality of their Protanium Hex Screwdrivers. DON'T WASTE TIME.

Saved me a lot of trouble

These little socket head sockets have helped with awkward angles and minor damage to hex head screws more times than I can count. From homework to my boyfriend's bike on a bad day. I think of them as one of those "handy tools" that plug in and get the job done when the usual options are tricky. Now they're always in a portable box with my Makita drill/driver when needed.

Not. Just don't.: Wrench

Careful first use, ball head just pops out like plastic or wood, not tool steel. I couldn't believe it but I've been using Bondhus Allen keys for years and never had a problem. A few weeks later I used another and a latch on the first small hex bolt which also broke. Throw away the rest, do yourself a favor and don't buy them. Oh, and that was with the use of hands (to get to the deeply recessed screws). In no case do they work with a power driver.

Great hard to find metric hex bits

I've been looking for this for a while: long shank hex bits that will snap into my screwdriver. For some reason, hardware stores don't have anything like this. I got this set of metrics along with the UK 10836 set and they are my favorite pieces now. Made in the USA with ball tips for tricky turns and less than two spools apiece? How can you be wrong. The only complaint is that the smaller bits still have thick shanks, making them difficult to squeeze into tight spaces and useless for…

Pros
  • hand tool
Cons
  • long delivery

I've just used these in one of my 1/4" drums and they work great. The one-piece construction means they won't fall apart at the attachment point (a problem with many I have ) and the larger shafts mean they handle a little more torque. I don't have a problem with countersunk screws as I'll be using a T-handle for this. You won't put too much torque on a screw that you can't see. If something goes wrong, you can't fix it. .

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Great offer. Best in Power Tools and Hand Tools

I agree with the following general observations from other reviewers: 1. Bondhus has an excellent reputation.2. These ball head drivers are hard to find.3. The bits are well made.4. Smaller bits between 2.5mm and 4mm can break and can be difficult to use in tight spaces due to the larger shank. My order also came in a small ziplock plastic bag. I'm not a locksmith, just an amateur, but I don't know why you would use an impact tool on a 4mm bolt. much smaller by 2.5 mm. If the drivers break, it…
