Not safe for birds!

My bird loved this toy and I wanted to buy another one. Unfortunately, when I saw something orange stuck in its beak, I took the toy to examine it and found that the toy had bits of *foam* on it. As you can see in the photo he made a number on an orange piece. The rest of the parts of this toy are great, but if you're buying, beware of those styrofoam pieces!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Empty

Not good with toys

My kennel immediately liked this toy but there was sticky substance on the top ball and metal clasp. Pry won't be using it because I don't know what it was and I don't want to risk it being a thorn in his side. I may see if I can rebuild him with other parts of his used toys so it's not a total loss. Unfortunately it arrived before I realized it otherwise I would have sent it back but I wouldn't feel good about sending it now.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

Great feeding toy!

My cockatiel loves it. So far she has two of them, and she's tearing them apart. They're great for hiding millet and other goodies, and she loves chinese cuffs and little hearts and pulls out paper. I put millet and buckwheat seeds several times in small airy parts. Delivered quickly, no weird smells and I plan to buy it again when it's time to replace it. It's all natural materials and she loves it. There are no downsides here.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some complications

Budgie must have toys

My budgie took a long time to get used to this, but over time it has become her favorite toy, which she has to play with every walk. When I first got it, I made sure to run my fingers over the shredded paper part and cut off the parts that were twisted in a circle so it wouldn't get stuck in my head in the future, and it also strictly controls this, but now, a few months later. to have it and see how she likes it. I'm glad I bought it and feel comfortable playing it alone

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes

Favorite toy of my 2 cockatiels

My 2 'Thiels' are 'rescue' brothers and sisters; and have been with me for 8 years. About 1 year ago they had little interest in toys. And these toys have lasted a long time with them. THIS TOY? Like a barrel of catnip for a cat. They can't get enough of chewing the "tubes" to pieces. But their real joy comes when they visit the slaughterhouse on the colorful paper strings in the center and bottom of the toy. They turn them into tiny pieces of confetti; and I change toys (on average) every 10…

Makes my bird happy every time

My ringed Indian neck loves to shred toys. I love how cute this toy is. It won't be long with my friend. I give two or three days maximum. So for the price I'm not satisfied. Will I buy again? Yes. Anything that makes my bird happy because she loves these toys. Definitely cheap stuff. I can buy most of these things on the dollar tree but I'm not creative enough to sit down and make them myself so I buy from Amazon :) so I won't be negative as I love bonk bird toys. and they are creative when it

Satisfies the need to destroy things

Parrots need to destroy something to be happy. Not content with just indestructible plastic toys, they need to crush and chew things up. Some wooden toys will satisfy their chewing needs, but other toys like this will satisfy their crushing and grinding needs. I've had these before and my bird loves tearing them apart. This will keep him busy and content for hours and quieter. If you're new to parrot keeping, don't just buy toys for their durability, but for things they can destroy to satisfy…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features

Dangerous toy, an epithet for Oliver, death by ToyOliver, my 17 year old kennel was a happy bird, toys were changed regularly, he is dead thanks to this dangerous toy. It looks harmless and perfect for a bird that likes to chew, but it's not. The bright orange stick on top is rubber, not wood, and of course my bird chewed off large chunks of it, getting stuck in his gut although he managed to spit out most of it. The vet took an x-ray on him and saw the part didn't go away and was sympathetic…
