This might work for your F150 too

Made for my 2012 F150 failed vacuum pump at minimal cost. The Ford pump was even $550 online, this one is $70 and I have power brakes again! The vacuum hose connection was the same.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Works as advertised

I have a 1968 El Camino with a high output cam engine and only 11" horsepower. I used a different pump that couldn't recover fast enough to keep my brakes working. This pump creates a vacuum 2.5 times faster. Now I always have good brakes.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

Great vacuum pump!

What's wrong with this Revain review, why did you remove it? I'll try again. This is amazing stuff! I used it to remove the mechanical vacuum pump that powers my engine brake in my 2003 Diesel Dodge Cummins. Now I can use the standard $45 serpentine belt you can buy at any parts store instead of the $155 burglar bought ones! So excited! I broke NO rules in writing this review!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Worked for 2011 F150

As mentioned this works for 2011 and 2012 F150. I thought the engine was just replacing the current engine, it's not. This is a full replacement. The truck's vacuum hose connects to the new pump and you simply connect the old electrical end to the new one. You then need to somehow install it behind the headlight. I originally used the zip ties in the picture (to see if it works) and later installed them on a piece of metal I made (no actual photos). Has been working for a few weeks with no…

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
