Description of Borehole pump Aquarius BTsPE 0.5-40U (720 W)
The Aquarius pump BTsPE 0.5-40 U can be used to supply water from any source (well, well, tank, river). When used in manual mode, the pump can simply be plugged into a power outlet. For the purpose of automating the water supply process, it is necessary to use a pressure switch or another type of automation unit.
In the case of automatic pressure water supply, this pump is recommended for pumping water from wells or wells in which the water level is no more than 20 meters from the ground.
An asynchronous, oil-filled electric motor through an intermediate coupling drives the shaft of the pump part, on which the impellers pumping water are rigidly fixed. The principle of operation of the pump is centrifugal. Water intake takes place between the engine and the pump part, through the holes in the suction grate.
The pump is supplied with an electric cable and a capacitor unit. The cable is removed from the engine and runs along the side of the pump section, under the protective strip. Top cover of the pump with threaded connection (without built-in non-return valve), and two lugs for attaching a safety cable.
A reliable thermal relay is built into the motor winding, which protects the pump against current (overload). Automatic restart when the relay is triggered. There is no dry running protection in the pump, installation of external protection if necessary.
The optimal operating area of the Aquarius BTsPE 0.5-40 U pump in terms of flow rate is in the range from 0.7 m3 / h to 2.5 m3 / h. This is exactly the range that is optimal for most private houses and single-family cottages. It is recommended to use a HDPE pressure pipe as a riser pipe.
