Bosch 27285 8 Inch Socket 8 Piece Review

I'm a Bosch man. Sockets are good. The body is strong. The main downside is that the socket holders aren't very good and you'll inevitably end up with a big ratty box full of loose sockets. I'm not a big fan of such things, and a good box can accommodate more outlets, but I've seen some people not like it.

I bought this socket wrench set especially for frame brakes on semi-trailers and trailers. When I receive them I see that they are standard depth so they may not be suitable for this job. I haven't tested them yet, but they're at least as good quality as Tekton bushings. The pouch that comes with it is a standard Bosch accessory and I intend to keep it in the box. For the price I can't go wrong with this set.

I am impressed with the quality of these sockets. I've only used the 15/16 head once at work and both the fit and material quality seem top notch. Only time will tell, but for now I think this is probably the best head in this price range ($24.99!). The case is sturdy and durable, which is a big plus. I will only use these occasionally when working on assembly lines so I expect them to last a long time.

WOW! Very good, durable set of impact drills. There are nine bits in total and the largest size is almost 1 inch, 15/16 inch. To use these bits you will need a 1/2 inch adapter which is sold separately and only costs a few dollars. Came in a very nice sturdy plastic case with a lock. The packaging was excellent.
