Bosch Severe Duty Semi-Metallic brake pads use the latest technology in friction for best in class performance, quiet operation, and long life. Severe Duty pads are made for vehicles subject to constant stop-and-go operation or that carry heavy payloads. OE-style multilayer shims, slots, and chamfers (where specified). Engineered, tested, and manufactured in North America. Set includes pads for 1 axle (2 wheels), synthetic lube, and hardware (as applicable); pads come boxed with a paper inner wrap for added protection. Very good replacement pads

I've only had these pads for a short time. They seem to be working fine. They make no noise when braking and stop the car better than regular ones.

Pay attention to bed rest!

They took a while to get used to but they are quiet and hold up well. Time will tell how long they last. I've had them for maybe 5,000 miles. So far, so good.

Not over. They fell apart and decayed.

The bottom plate came loose and damaged the new rotor. Now I'm out of both. Really shit. I wish I could go back but says I can't. I had to go to the local parts store.

Brake pads with good bite.

Great brake pads for towing and hill climbing for a large car (08 Silverado 1500). Works as expected and surprisingly quiet for a semi-metal. The price was incredibly good.

Great stopping power!

Bought for my 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 4wd. Excellent stopping power when towing my motorcycle trailer with two sport bikes. Much better than my ceramic pads in both braking performance and brake dust reduction. No deformation/pulsation feeling from the brake pedal like with my ceramic pads. I've read that these pads can cause the rotors to wear out faster, but they're worth it in my opinion. Very happy with this purchase.

2 months and 1/2 thickness front pads already worn out

I can't understand how I installed this first week of June 2021 and it's already August 3rd and I can squeal the front brakes hear and see nothing If something is wrong after removing the tire and checking grinders and caliper pins, it's not clear who the culprit is, but about half the thickness of the pads is already gone, which is extremely shocking. These pads are thick and appear to be of excellent quality, the rotors are due for replacement but still have some life, the pads were…
