🔩 Bosch CO2146 4 3 Cobalt Drill: Durable and Efficient Drilling Tool Review

According to my experience, this industrial drill bit failed to perform as expected. The cobalt coating wore off quickly and the bit became dull after minimal use. The only positive aspect was the initial sharpness.

This has worked great for me. It's an odd size (not usually found in a bitset), but that's the size I needed. I bought one from a local orange store with big boxes, the drill bit manufacturer's name was on it, but it wasn't true, meaning its cutting end was loose. This Bosch was absolutely perfect, straight forward and precise and did an excellent job on my drill press. Bosch makes great tools and this attachment worked great.

Good drill, definitely cobalt. Use it to slightly enlarge 5 holes in hardened tool steel, which would kill most bits. It got almost as hot as anything I was drilling (little blanks attached to a block of wood to hold them in place without ripping off any body parts!) and nearly set the jig on fire. Bosch makes good beats!
