Makes smooth, even cuts in granite

Used for cutting granite countertops and splashboards for 15 foot base cabinets. Minimal chipping and I was able to get straight, even cuts. The blade is even stronger, it still has a smooth, stable blade and grain. It's hard to tell how badly worn the blade is or how much longer it has to live, but I'd feel comfortable doing another project with it without a replacement.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • A later model could have been selected

Two bathrooms tiled

I used this disc in my tile cutter and tiled two full bathrooms with porcelain tiles. There were small chips along the cut line towards the end if I was going too fast. I have made many cuts and would buy this blade again. In addition to all porcelain tiles, I've also used it for granite backs and side splashes. He made very clean cuts in the granite. A few times when the blade slowed down as if it was dull, I sawed into the brick and that seemed to taper the blade.

Unbalanced?: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I really wanted to give this product 5 stars. Easily cuts ceramic and marble. I was particularly pleased with the ceramic performance, it was like clockwork. However. I had to give one star because I just couldn't balance it. When I'm driving with no load, this thing makes my whole rig jump like a tyrannosaurus rex is approaching. Once I loaded it by clipping something everything is fine so I got it working. But none of the other 10 blades I've used on this saw had any balance issues. It's a…

Clean cut on porcelain stoneware

This blade was used when laying tiles in the shower room. Cut large format porcelain tiles cleanly with virtually no chipping. I'm a DIYer and haven't done a lot of tile. The tile just seemed to stop cutting after dozens (if not more) of cuts near the end of my project, so I ran to a large warehouse of oranges and grabbed a hard blade. This blade was very disappointing with rough cuts and chips everywhere. A stiff, low quality blade costs more than a Bosch blade and really showed me how good a…

Cons

Based on other reviews I was hoping for better results. My saw's old thin blade was worn out and I couldn't read the mark to replace it. This works well on regular smooth ceramic and porcelain tiles, but I have used textured porcelain tiles with an underglaze finish. Harbor Freight's $15-20 diamond blades caused significantly more glaze chips on textured china than even a worn blade, and while it was better, I should have gone for something thinner and better.

Warped or unbalanced blade

I received this Bosch tile cutter this week. I installed it on my 7" MK Diamond 370 wet cutting tile saw. I was cutting a porcelain tile and realized something was wrong. My saw was vibrating badly. I replaced the new Bosch blade with another 7" blade, which I had laying around and thought I might have bent the saw shaft when I removed the old blade from the saw. The saw didn't vibrate so I knew the problem was with the new blade. Bought a Dewalt replacement from Lowe's and it works great I'll…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Little things

I needed an airstone cutter for my chimney. It worked great and did all the work (3 boxes of airstone) in one blade. The shaft is a fixed size, no adapter, so it worked with my Ryobi miter saw (which can't use adapters on the blade). I was very happy with the performance, very few stones broke off and when they did it was on the piece I cut off and not the piece I used. LOTS OF DUST on the air stone, it's nothing to do with the blade but I like to use a ryobi fan to blow the dust off me when…

Seems great for saw blades, parts and accessories

Can't comment on durability or reliability as I've only used it once. Secondly, I am not using these blades for what they are intended for (tile cutting). I use it in my table saw to sharpen saw blades (circular and table saws). The ones I had before (from Harbor Freight) and this one did exactly what I wanted. The HF blade was worn on the sides, which is what I use to sharpen saw blades. I decided to try it on corrugated iron roofs as it uses an edge I haven't used myself and it worked great…
