Impossible to disassemble

The set screw and nut that secures the pilot nozzle to the hole saw is absolutely impossible to loosen - partly because the nut is round, mainly because of the bolt set jams on delivery and cannot be solved with reasonable effort. Maybe not very good quality control, or maybe everything is as intended. Definitely don't buy it if you plan to use the drill bit as a replacement or modify the hole saw in any way; seems impossible!

Pros
  • Built in mandrel and pilot bit - no additional purchases required
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Works perfectly. c Power tool parts and accessories

Had to install deadbolt lock on door. I've read reviews that said it's mostly only good for light jobs. I thought I'd try anyway. I was amazed at how easily he drilled a hole in the door. He stopped drilling the hole halfway through because the door was so thick. I broke off a piece inside the hole, finished the hole and installed the lock. I really had no problems. Only thing I can say is make sure you have a good powerful drill bit when using this and you shouldn't have any trouble drilling…

Pros
  • 1/4 in. hex shank - for use in quick change chucks
Cons
  • No instructions

Functional but frustrating and a bit dangerous

I tried these because I thought they were from Bosch and they seemed cheap enough. There weren't any other reviews. Well they basically are "OK" but with some BIG warnings. I just drilled some large 2.5" holes in 3/4" plywood for the recessed LED lights on the shelf. I used a traditional spring loaded hole saw of minor Quality used with about 10 concentric blades at the base. This tool was mediocre but did the job so I looked for the best kit.Anyway I drilled 5 holes so I knew what it looked…

Pros
  • Eight piece set includes 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2". 2-1/2" " and 2-1/2". Pin Hole Saws with Guide Nozzle
Cons
  • Long Lead Time
