Yes, you'll need to sand the underside of the front corners a bit, but if you can't handle this simple task, you probably shouldn't use a table seen. Anyone who criticizes this product for this reason alone is clearly incompetent.

works great. I installed the insert on a Bosch 4100. I spent less than 5 minutes lightly sanding the corners to get a perfect fit. Fits better than the original part. No movement. Now my saw cuts plywood like clockwork with no splinters. I just ordered another one to install Dado.

I had to sand the ends for quite a long time to assemble. As he approached, I locked the stop to the right of the blade's ledge to hold it in place, and slowly raised the blade to cut through it. After that I checked how even the cut line remained and to my great surprise it became sharp, like a laminate after the cut! It was so sharp I cut my finger; I told the manufacturer about it and they advised me to "grind". LAUGH OUT LOUD.

Didn't fit my old Bosch 4000 table saw. The width was ok but the length was a little big. Either send it back or repair it. Since the regular Dado slot wasn't available I was kind of cornered and needed to be inserted. I just sanded the edges to match. But I shouldn't have done that and undone the insertion. So it works when I change it and now I can do dados later. It turned out to be a pile of junk. It cracked and the top layer came off. should have waited

This insert is much stronger than the standard Bosch insert for the 4100 series. If you wish it will be a very tight fit as it is slightly oversized and will need to be ground to fit your insert slot. You will also need to drill the slot for the riving knife BEFORE you start cutting the blade. You can use witness chalk if you're obsessed with accuracy, but the riving knife's cut doesn't have to be so narrow. Your zero clearance does its job at the front of the blade.

I spent several hours sanding and leveling the edges before it fit properly. I almost sent it back but decided to change it myself. Also, the mechanism in my saw that rises when the blade is raised has protrusions that make contact with the bottom of the insert before the blade is all the way up on the table. I'll have to try and drill a few holes to accommodate this hardware so I can fully extend the saw blade. This is a quality product but definitely NOT for everyone. I look forward to nice…

I'm so glad I got this. I managed to pinch the board in the standard board and bend it - a very strong incident and injured my hand. I bought this despite the reviews saying it needs sanding to fit and they were absolutely right. Doesn't fit right out of the box. But about 5 minutes with a random orbit sander and everything was perfect.
