Seriously, Bose? I purchased the Revain QC30 on March 8th, 2017. Not even 6 months have passed since the purchase and the plastic parts on the edges of the neck part started to move away from both ends. This is totally unacceptable and is only getting worse. I expected significantly more quality and durability from such an expensive product and especially from a Bose product. Update: In 2017 it took me almost 3 months until I got a replacement (under guarantee). But anyway, about a year later…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • It's not as good as it says it is

Clumsy, squeaky, not understandable as well as QC20

They're bulky, awkward to carry, and quite uncomfortable with the large control unit hanging on the right ear. The noise-cancellation isn't bad (almost as good as my four-year-old QC20s), but the headset started beeping in my right ear every time I turned my head; The control module rubbed against the cable jacket. This is a design flaw that will likely appear in almost all of these devices for the first few years. This makes the product a non-starter. Turn your head to look at the tree "beep",

Pros
  • even in the old blunt

Great while they're there. Expect a few months of this.

Let me start by saying that I have always preferred Bose for my audio systems. I've had their audio products in my cars, speakers and headphones for as long as I can remember. I've dabbled with Klipsch and Sony before, but I've always chosen Bose for convenience and quality. They impressed me with balanced sound and headphones I could wear for hours without even having them. I have never been more dissatisfied with a Bose product than this one. When a product works, it's great. The battery life

Poor quality product - NOT recommended

Not my first Bose product and I am very disappointed. The sound and noise cancellation are great, but overall I hate them. I find it particularly irritating that my dislike of them was performance based to begin with, but since they weren't my first Bose product I decided to give them a shot, hopefully a firmware update or something else would improve things . What happened in the end is I hate them to this day, I missed my return window and now I'm stuck with $300 headphones you couldn't pay…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

In addition to the Bose QuietControl 30 headphones, I also have QuietComfort 20i Noise Canceling Headphones and QuietComfort 25 Noise Canceling Headphones Quality: 1.5 years later Part of the headphones started falling apart (see below) and after 2 years the headphones stopped working. Sound: Contrary to what might be expected, there is a noticeable difference in noise cancellation between the 30 and 20i, as well as ocean wave cancellation. as well as other ambient noises. As a noise reduction…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Long wait

First Impression - Details

I bought these from a major retailer this morning. I wanted to share my first impressions but I don't want to misrepresent any information that a potential buyer might need, so I plan to do this review in 3 parts. Part 1: Packaging: The Bose QC30 comes in a very nice premium packaging. . I'm not usually interested in stuff like this, but I'm sure there will be some unboxing videos on YouTube soon. The kit includes headphones, a case, two additional sets of ear pads (large and small, the middle…

  • Excellent Construction
