The spinning ball is too big for my tomtom z1230. The suction cup is quite big, about 1.5 times the size of my tomtom. Even if that thing worked on my tom-tam, it would be quite a hassle to tape it to the windshield.

Both the GPS and its mounts have occasionally fallen off the windshield and this can be both dangerous and annoying.
