Strong screws in fasteners

Not all screws are perfectly finished, one was almost broken but was able to be removed. That being said, they were grossly overpriced compared to similar heavier brass screws I bought from a home store. Definitely worth it and I will use them for future projects.

Pros
  • Wood screws
Cons
  • Available in white only

Good workmanship Screw

This screw worked very well for my purpose. However, finding a suitable screwdriver for its Phillips head is difficult, especially for hardwood installations. It's a bit small for #2, and while it fits #1, if it could be found, #1-1/2 would be better. For hardwood installation, it is best to drill a hole with a #45-46 (.081-.082 in.) drill bit and lubricate the threads prior to installation.

Pros
  • Screw
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Sturdy and reliable

I'm so tired of the screws I bought from local hardware stores snapping or breaking in half. I've been working with hard cherries and two out of three screws were garbage. Until I tried these. I've made several Christmas gifts at my wood shop and none of these brass screws have given me any trouble. I still have about half of the pack left, but I will order more. Screws I bought locally? Already kicked out.

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
