🚴 Ultra Bright Smart Bike Tail Light - Rechargeable, Auto On/Off, Waterproof LED, 30+ Hours Run Time (Seatpost+Saddle) Review

Shipping the goods in one day took over a week. The light was good for maybe 2 hours when it lasted - I was taking a walk on a paved path on a moderately rainy day, with a lantern under my saddle, and there appears to be water in the hull. I've given it time to dry and tried to charge it again, but it seems to be completely drained. I think it's normal for someone who only rides a bike indoors, but that's not entirely true.

This is a cool lantern that fits perfectly under the saddle. If you put it in manual mode, it's bright and works well. It doesn't work that well in automatic mode. I mounted one on my son's bike. When it starts pedaling hard, it switches brightly into braking mode, and when it brakes it does nothing but a normal blink. I tested it on my bike and got very similar results. I'm not sure I would recommend it.

This is a pretty cool and compact design, but it just doesn't work properly. From day one the LEDs (battery, automatic function) didn't work properly which should have told me the future of this light but I didn't and now I'm sadly past the return window. At the moment it seems to be working but none of the automatic functions are working (sleep etc) and the indicator lights aren't working either so who knows. My personal experience is that he promises too much and REALLY doesn't deliver. Damn.

If you need a constant flash mode during the day then this product is not for you. This is a bit of silly product design because I don't want it only blinking when braking. I want it to always flash so the car can see me from afar. Do you also think that the slowdown and possible backlight will prevent the car from running over me? I really liked this flashlight, I've had a lot of compliments in the last month I've been using it, it charges quickly and lasts several hours on one charge. The body of the flashlight seems to be metal alloy and of good quality. The seatpost mount is terrible in my opinion and will likely fail/break at some point when you're about to go on a trip, making the flashlight a potentially unreliable purchase. The modes are confusing to understand or comprehend. I think it has a light sensitivity setting.
