Does a decent job but really uses batteries

I have two problems that others have reported. Made a few labels and set them aside for a few weeks, used again and the battery died on the first new label. For this second set of batteries I will keep them outside of the unit and see if that helps. Also don't like the long leader. You've used narrow margins, but you're still wasting tape at the beginning of the label. Most of the labels I make are "disposable" so I can't chain them together. Tip: Buy tape cassettes on ebay. Cheaper.

Discharges the battery, even when switched off.

This thing will keep your batteries powered even when it's off. I don't use it that often. I make a few labels and then sit on the shelf for several months. Come back to use again, dead batteries. So after the 3rd or 4th time. I only have a second label cassette and have used up 18 to 24 batteries. (It holds 6 at a time) I started pulling out the batteries knowing he was going to be using them for a while. Since then, the same set of batteries has lasted for several years. But like I said, I…

Buy another model - this one will cost you too much time and money

This item is scrap. It doesn't print properly. It prints random lengths and random sizes. Should have read the reviews more carefully. It also eats batteries even when it's turned off. I printed 2 labels immediately upon receipt and then turned off. This weekend I was ready to start a big label project and had to replace all SIX batteries. Then he printed the wrong size, the wrong format, with an incredible amount of wasted ribbon. I missed my return window so I need to deal with my brother…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Base required

I use computers on the go a lot and this handy little thing is perfect for me. It's smaller than some of my older models, although I wish it was a little thinner. One small complaint though. The biggest problem with them is that they drain their batteries quickly even when they are turned off. At first I thought it was because it was in my pocket and the power button was being pressed, but even sitting on the shelf a month later I found the batteries were completely dead. A simple fix to this…

battery guzzler. on Office Electronics

This is a good labeling machine with different characters and label styles. Unfortunately, special characters are hard to come by. The "manual" is a piece of paper with no detailed instructions or examples. It's also a battery pig. I read this in other reviews and checked why. The main problem is that the low battery level is 1.4 volts, which happens very quickly, especially with AAA batteries. My son has a diabetic pump that doesn't think the battery is low until the voltage drops to 1.2 or…

They sent me the wrong model

Well, that's embarrassing. Over the years I have owned and used a variety of Brother label printers, both at work and at home. I love these things and have several of them. In December 2019 I ordered and received an invoice for a PT-H100 label printer, but they sent me a PT-H110, a similar model but at a different price (see attached picture of what I received). Why it took me 2 years to notice this is unknown. So I can't check what I ordered. However, the PT-H110 model I received is easy to…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I used the old version of the same label printer at a previous employer for many years and loved it. When I recently launched one of these, I immediately thought of this model and was glad that it was updated with more features without increasing the price. Many colored tapes are available, some of which have specific uses such as: B. Protective tape and super tape for outdoor use. I prefer white laminate, I use it outdoors in places like electrical boxes/panels and they last a year or more…

  • Everything is fine!

Excellent label printer apart from the ribbon and battery waste.

The device works well except for two issues. First, terrible battery life. It uses 6 AAA batteries and blows them through like it's nothing (seems to drain when the device is off, quicker than expected too). Adding to this disappointing fact is a small plastic circle on the bottom of the device, suggesting that other models with the same body are likely to have an additional wall adapter. Batteries run out without warning, often when you go to print, and it stops at the beginning of the label…
