Based on the reviews we were a bit skeptical about this but we love it! Makes a delicious cold drink. You have to play with the fall speed a bit to find the perfect spot, but the results are excellent.

Makes a great cold drink but can be a bit finicky. One should definitely keep an eye on the drop rate over time. On two of my beers last week, the drip stopped about two hours into the process. Not sure what is causing this, the adjustment screw is not permanent and sometimes it takes a bit of fiddling to keep it working.

Let's start with the cons/solutions as the title gives my opinion on cold brewing. It looks delicate and complex. After putting it together a few times you'll find that the spacers are in perfect spots so you'll never hit glass on glass or glass on the counter. After a few brews, I can handle this device with confidence when preparing, brewing and washing/drying.
