THINK. But now he's stuck in a tree stump!

The thing is mean. Better have a decent drill. I tried a cheap Harbor Freight Drill Master. Only about 1/4 inch preserved. Set the head 3/8 on my percussion pistol and ran it with no problems. Now I can't get it out. For some reason this bit doesn't go back when moving backwards.

Great value for money Auger Bit

This auger bit is a great addition to my toolbox for my ongoing kitchen makeover. Handles wall studs and wooden window sills with ease, and the threaded end pulls the bit into the wood to reduce fatigue. It was just a project but the build quality looks good and I expect my money back before a replacement. The quality is comparable to Beats, which are about twice the price.

Not the sharpest thing in the toolbox.

Not as sharp as desired. The tip of the self-tapping screws stuck together instantly and didn't drag the drill into the wood. In fact, the drill drifted significantly more than other auger drills I've used. Most drill bits have two tips to cut through the wood before the cutting edge touches it. This bit only has one which makes the bit drift towards the tip. I had to put in considerable effort to get through the bottom of the closet, the floor, and the sub-floor to get the plumbing through.
