Good for the price.

The product is easy to use and very practical. The only downside, and maybe it's just for me, is the bottom part that holds the cable is broken. It needs fixing but if it could be stronger that would be great!

This has been needed for years.

Need a long time. I always forget to buy until I need it. This time I stopped what I was doing and ordered this. I'm glad I did. The first time I used it I had to order another one for my boyfriend. People are surprised when I call out this inexpensive instrument.

Weak design. - Vices and locking pliers

I was hoping to save time and energy by using this tool in a hard to reach spot. I was very excited to use it. However, after opening the clamp 1/4 inch, it failed at the base of the spiral channel. After that, all the force was distributed in a weak place and did not even move from the place of constant tension of the collar.

Use the more expensive

Works but by design you can't open the clamps far enough to move them. The buttons abut too soon, not allowing the lower locking levels of the pair to be used. But this is enough to loosen the clamps. But if you really don't need the money, spend the extra money to get another pair that opens decently.
