Fine needle, fine thread, direction unclear. Not for beginners, the project is too easy to be of value to anyone with the skills to thread a tiny needle. This is NOT for beginners and NOT for children.

This is the first cross stitch I've ever done. After watching a few YouTube videos it was pretty easy to understand. I wanted to try it with no hoop, my aunt told me not to, so I used a 4 inch hoop and the fabric barely fit, but it worked. The needle is scrap, there is definitely a fuse. In general I liked it.

Cross stitch is not exactly new to me. My mother taught me cross stitch 11 years ago, but since her death I still haven't picked up another needle. I almost forgot how to cross stitch, but by taking this and doing a simple web search I got all my cross stitch knowledge back. It was absolutely perfect for getting your feet wet, so to speak. I highly recommend this kit, it's easy to read and use!
