Perform great! Good price!

Definitely a thumbs up! Great price, works great. I installed them on my Cannondale which was blown away. The transformation was perfect. Big shocks!

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • There are nuances

Budget Forks: Forks

This fork is heavy, has lots of traction and isn't perfect in every way, but for $100 it's a great upgrade over the stock fork on a cheap bike. The shocks work and the fork can be fully locked for lifting. Not bad for the money.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Pretty good for the money!

Seth's review and video bribed me. Definitely an improvement over the stock forks at my Schwinn limit. They weigh just over a pound lighter than the OEM fork. Love the rebound damper, the lock-up works well but wish the damping adjustment wasn't so finicky. For the money it seems good!

Good fork for the price

Having used this fork for a month I can say it has worked quite well. The only thing I don't like about this fork is the rather poor packaging. The fork was completely scratched when it arrived and the rebound bolt isn't tight so oil is leaking out, but after I tightened the bolt everything is fine afterwards.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Terrible quality, don't buy these plugs.

I would give these forks a zero if I could, although they look good the quality of these forks is terrible. I was very excited when I received the product but quickly realized that these forks are a very dangerous part to install on any mountain bike. Please see the photos and videos as they indicate the imperfections and poor quality of this fork.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything ok

Great product for entry level mountain bikers

Used for my pleasure Walmart Full Suspension Shwinn 29 inch wheels. Great product, the hand lock is very useful when you have to ride on the road, it was a lot of fun doing small easy jumps that aren't too difficult for its 110 travel. Worked well going over gravel, roots and a few rocks. This is a good fork for any budget beginner mountain bike. Overall a great product.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good fork for the price.

Replaced a Suntour XCR 110 fork that had a broken lock. I thought about maintenance but it would probably cost the same as this fork. Installing the fork was easy, no problem. I considered myself a beginner-intermediate rider. 100 km driven, so far so good. The lock works and the ride is decent. There is a warning sticker stating this is not for downhill riding and basic trail use.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
