Great pads for buffing and polishing

Was looking for something to polish my car. These pads are great. Just screw the bit into your electric drill and you're done.

Works great on glass and granite

I bought this to finish the job of grinding and polishing (the purpose of this) glass table. It did a great job and I've used two pads of different sizes and manufacturers and this was by far the best. I connected it to a high speed buffer.

Works great and good quality

They are like the photo. Delivery was quick. Appears to be good quality. We used them once. My husband used them to polish some acrylic pieces for a project he is working on. Supported and well attached to our random orbital sander and drill bit. The prices here are lower than in conventional hardware stores.

Velcro on buffing and buffing pads

This item works as expected. I don't have many uses for ii, so I'll probably have enough for a while. The problem I have is that the buffing pads are attached to the wheel with velcro and I'm not sure how long the velcro will last. I would recommend it for general users but it may not be suitable for commercial users. The price for the quality is sufficient.

Good for small jobs

I have used it twice, on a car it worked perfectly as the scratches were not very serious so I was able to mix them. I couldn't get rid of the scratches on my second car but overall it's a good product to use just for waxing my cars. I used Chemical Guys wax and this product with my drill and I managed to get the car very smooth and shiny. Easy to use, will buy more if needed.

Best with variable speed drill

This was perfect for small body work on my bike. The felt pads were practically useless, but the wool did the trick for a see-through finish. I also bought a few other buffing pads for the buffing wheel which worked great as everything was velcro. If you don't need felt pads, there are other products with different pads. If you do a lot of work, you're probably better off using an actual polishing tool.

Best to check before use in Tools & Equipment

As can be seen in the pictures the small retaining ring (which is designed to prevent the pressed metal threads from being pulled out of the plastic head) was pushed into an offset which resulted in this a vertical lip holding the head from the seat to the midline. This caused enough wobble to dangle the felt pad - not what you want on new, yet soft paint. It's easy to see when you put it on the drill and pull the trigger, but if someone's not careful it can make life harder than it needs to…
