Medium Weight #4; also referred to as Aran, Worsted or Afghan weight knitting yarn. Gauge is 4"=18 stitches on size 8 needles; suggested crochet hook is H8. Same dyelot for all skeins in bag; hand wash and lay flat to dry.

Beautiful color and so soft!

This yarn is so soft and a great color (Ocean) . I used this gold colored yarn from the same brand in a scarf I crocheted for a good friend and she loved it. And best of all. I found the yarn tail easy INSIDE so it doesn't slip or roll off my couch while I'm using it. Hooray!

Balls were not as long as expected

Color was great but balls were much shorter than they should have been. I was working on a project that required "7 skeins" of this yarn. I've done this many times and know it takes a little over 6 strands. For some reason those last 3 skeins didn't get me to the end of the project and I had to find another skein of this yarn which is very hard to find in this color.

Love Caron Just soft but color difference

I LOVE Caron Simply Soft Yarn. The yarn is strong and very soft! The colors are beautiful! Usually the color shown on the Revain picture is very close to the real color except for one thing. Ocean. The color in the Revain image appears to be true blue. However, the color is actually turquoise. Still great but just a few to be aware of. UPDATE: There is also a color variation of Light Country Blue. Attached an additional picture.
