🚗 High-performance 5.5" Bullet Stubby Antenna: Perfect Replacement Aerial for Trucks, SUVs, and Cars Review

This is a nice little replacement circular antenna with universal mounting adapters. It works well and looks good. The only downside is the fact that it's made of solid metal. Most antennas are flexible and machine washable. Warning, this is not the case and could cause damage if it hits something. Otherwise it's good.

Bought for my 1974 Jeep CJ5 and it fits perfectly. I was able to pick up most of the major stations in my hometown, but I suspect you won't be able to pick up distant or weak stations with it. Anyhow, as a bonus, it came with a whole host of adapters to make it fit. It's also heavy and metallic. All in all a great accessory and those who complain about the lack of reception have unrealistic expectations.

Well we all know that we only buy this thing for the novelty/coolness. That's cool. It has some weight, it has all the adapters you need to install it, and it actually picks up FM signals so you still have access to terrestrial radio when you install this thing. know what it does with AM signals, but it works great for FM. This cylindrical antenna comes with a fairly complete set of different screws and adapters to fit most antenna threads. I installed it on an old FJ Cruiser in place of the long whip antenna that came with the car and it took me a while to realize I needed a very long filament. As soon as I screwed it in, the bullet pierced easily. I'm not sure if threadlocker should have been used, but so far it hasn't come off at all. First I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra. I had a factory antenna that broke flush so I had to take a drill and pull the bolt out slightly. Actually it was pretty easy. In this application the bullet was too thick to install easily as the rubber was fitted around the bolt but in the end I managed to remove the rubber a bit. Next, I will address the appearance. .
