does his job. But - 3D printing filament

I've been using the spool for about 4 months now and it's a decent filament. Prints are good, has a translucent appearance. The problem is that this filament is sticky as it likes to stick to the nozzle itself. It's frustrating at first, I have to "help" the filament on the first print, it curls up around the nozzle, if you don't go in there and crush it you're in for a mess. I've used other threads and haven't had this problem. In general it works, but you have to get used to its bad behavior.

Pros
  • Made from the highest quality material
Cons
  • Legacy model

Not the best at staying with yourself.

My first print with this filament at 195Β°C was very bad, the layers were brittle with poor adhesion. Compared to another brand I've used before (I won't name them here), I had to crank this thread to 210C and set the flow rate to 103% to get good layer adhesion with adequate side hoop strength. Once I did that, the part printed fine. If you intend to purchase and use this grade, be aware that it may need to be extruded at a higher temperature than the PLA temperature range to achieve good print

Pros
  • Less material wastage - less distortion
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fairly good, reasonably reliable prints

I ordered this product expecting it to be like "Silk Silver" with a metallic sheen. It's not, but it's not the product's fault, I just misread the description. (I'm new to 3D printing). The thread is only light gray. It's fine for everyday typing, but I wouldn't overstate it. Now for the thread itself: it was vacuum packed with a desiccant bag, so it arrived as fresh as it came from the factory. I used over half the spool and printed everything from rough prototypes to miniature action figures.

Pros
  • For all FFF/FDM 3D printers that extrude PLA material
Cons
  • Damaged
