I couldn't be happier. I use them on my 85 acre farm.

Spent a lot of time looking not only for the brand but also for the increase on the internet. Chose Bushnell based on positive reviews and 8x42 for my intended use. The final choice was this pair and Bushnell 10x42, but I went with them because (a) it would be easier to get a stable image and (b) 8x42 lets in more light. Well I couldn't be happier. I use them on my 85 acre farm to watch horses, birds, deer, coyotes and even my dog. The picture is amazing and the evening/morning view is great…

Excellent binoculars with some mechanical flaws

The visual quality is excellent compared to similarly priced binoculars and many more expensive binoculars. The brightness and sharpness from the center to 1/4 from the edge is fantastic. It's blurry from 1/4 to the edge, but the center is so good you hardly notice it. But there are mechanical issues that bother me. 1) The diopter adjustment ring is a design that can be unlocked and rotated, gluing a plastic ring to the metal ring. The plastic just ripped and fell off twice. Even if you pull…

Great basket. mine was broken.

Having used Nikon Monarch 5s and compared them to Bushnell Legends (BL) they are quite comparable. But the BL's exceptional field of view sets it apart at 426 feet. It simply means you can see more of the field when you view them. But my particular BLs had flaws. The diopters were broken and unremarkable, so I didn't notice any problems up to a few weeks of use. This meant I could never get a crystal clear view from each of the tubes at the same time. It was close but never reached. Second…

Price new, used quality

When I first bought these binoculars (NEW, never used. I paid over $200 for them) I noticed a hair INSIDE the binoculars. This is unacceptable for waterproof/fogging binoculars. Then he asked for a new one (exactly the same) to exchange. The new one is also very disappointing. According to the seller's description, my replacement binoculars must also be brand new. However, when I first opened it, there was a lot of dust in the eyepiece, and there was even a fingerprint in the right eyepiece…

Rarely satisfied with a purchase.

I haven't had good binoculars since I was a child and I'm not an optician. I can say that I am very satisfied with this purchase. If you have money to spare I don't think you can do better than these for the price. I've read a lot of reviews of the most popular binoculars and here's what made sense to me: - Magnification x lens diameter ratio should be at least 1 in 5 (8x42 is good for this, if you don't use a tripod) magnify a lot, and without great lenses, more magnification means more blur,…
