The visual quality is excellent compared to similarly priced binoculars and many more expensive binoculars. The brightness and sharpness from the center to 1/4 from the edge is fantastic. It's blurry from 1/4 to the edge, but the center is so good you hardly notice it. Having used Nikon Monarch 5s and compared them to Bushnell Legends (BL) they are quite comparable. But the BL's exceptional field of view sets it apart at 426 feet. It simply means you can see more of the field when you view them. But my particular BLs had flaws. The diopters were broken and unremarkable, so I didn't notice any problems up to a few weeks of use.
