Reliable on parts

The Fram brand has always been a very reliable brand for me. This particular filter was used on a 2008 Mercury Sable. Ease of installation.

know the filter setting.

You need to be aware of your installation. Then it will be easy to install. it takes a lot of time. but if you don't know how to install it will be a tedious process and it's not a filter problem. Depending on where you ride, it gets pretty dirty and dusty. I recommend it for the price and value.

Fits my 2012 Mazda CX-9

Much cheaper to do it yourself and very easy. I've never thought about changing my own filters before, but the last time I changed my oil I realized it can't be that hard and it's not. Many people have posted videos on YouTube so you know exactly what to do. If you don't like getting your hands dirty this project might not be for you, but this girl thought it was worth the time.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons

Great for filters

This filter costs over $20 at every auto shop I've been to. Don't know if it was a sale, but less than $10 and I SOLD! Fram makes great filters, they always have. And unless you drive an exotic car with a specialized CAI system, then this is not a problem for everyday drivers. I think someone who drives an exotic would probably just pay the dealer for the extortion ($60 at a Ford dealership) and not worry about saving more by doing it themselves.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No insurance

Very important! - Air filter

Excellent quality! This is my third purchase of this filter for my 2012 Ford Flex SEL with 220,000 miles! The orange rubber gasket was a bit thicker than usual and I had to snap off a piece to get it in place. Maybe wear gloves for installation. I just got a little trim from "modification" but other than that you can't beat the price or quality of the cost and f of this filter. I agree with other reviews, google how to install this plus same brand/supplier cabin air filter and do the installโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Best filters I've ever used

These are quality filters. They fit perfectly in the box and are very tight. They don't shut off the engine, but have plenty of material to keep the filter running without restricting it. The top filter in my picture is 6? Months. It's still alive but I've been subscribed to them for 6 months now so I'll just change it when a new one comes out. The next two photos show this installed in my 2010 Ford Edge. I hope this helped. . If so, please mark it like this (just so I know I should do thoseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Protection

Fits 2012 Ford Explorer

Fits my 2012 Ford Explorer. It's a lot cheaper than changing it when you change the oil. But nowadays this product seems to be cheaper in big stores. Fram offers a replacement every 12,000 miles. This increases airflow and performance. It was easy to install on my explorer. Simply open the hood and reverse the two metal clips on the left side of the air filter cover and replace the filter. I usually take a marker/pen and write the mileage and replacement date on the rim of the filter itselfโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Doubtful

Cheaper than Autozone

What can I say, the camper is happy with my engine. Replacing your air filter is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to give your engine a long and productive life. Imagine if you had smoked cigarettes from the same filter all your life. Rough. Filter change every 10,000 km. No tools needed, just twist a few latches and swap. Watch the video on YouTube. Don't get ripped off by the oil repair people. Buy it here and replace it yourself. Just make sure you put the make/model/year above to

Pros
  • Excellent overall specifications
Cons
  • Fairly good
