So I really can't tell you how well this engine filters. I can tell you that buying it here and installing it in your car yourself is about 8 TIMES cheaper than doing it at my "luxury" dealer. So I do it myself and save a SHIT TON of money. And I like that.

So far so good – easy installation and assembly. I took off the stars because it only has about 3/4 the amount of pleats that the OEM filter has. I'm sure there's a reason the OEM filter has about 37 pleats. One would think that they would have roughly the same properties. Next time I will buy a normal filter.

I ended up looking for this air filter on Revain.com because 3 local auto parts stores didn't have a filter that would fit my car. I have refused to go to my local Honda dealer because, in my experience, Honda dealers overstate their products. This is an auto part that most people can probably replace themselves. Of course, you will have to unscrew a couple of screws, but for a complex modern car engine this is still easy. I recommend!

Bought with cabin filter, both removed and replaced in 15 minutes. The dealer would most likely charge me over $100 for "parts and labor" and there was no way they could do it that quickly. If you're not sure if you're capable of doing this, just watch a few YouTube videos of others replacing these filters and trust me. Save time and money and do it yourself!

Through carelessness I didn't notice that there was no tongue on one corner. On a 2009 Honda Accord, this corner must be at the top right when standing by the fender, otherwise you will not be able to close the air filter cover. It took me a while to figure out why I was having the problem. The dealer charged $57 to replace the engine air filter. This is a 10 minute job. There are videos on You Tube showing how to do it. You can go outside even when it's cold.
