Let's face it folks you get what you pay for. This particular product is easy to install but a bit flimsy. So go for the cheapest product out there, it's fine, but don't expect best in class.

I bought a 13ft f350 that came with a tool box, no keys of course so I bought it as those boxes are pretty standard sized but measure them just in case and they are great work. Now I can store my tools without fear of theft. Very happy

Fits easily in a few toolboxes on my tablet. It seemed to work fine for a few days. It got very difficult to turn today and I broke the key trying to turn it. I think I'll drill through this chinese junk and go to a local locksmith who will hopefully find something of good quality.

Bought truck with tool box, lost key from previous owner. To deter theft of $2,000 worth of power tools, I bought them and installed them in place of the old ones. A simple bolt-on design, just like the old ones. I had to sand down the flat plate that snaps it in place to get it fully snapped in, but that can be unique to my toolbox. Results may vary. All in all, it's pretty much a generic lock that works and might require minor modifications or shaping to make it work in your application…
