convenient to have. - Cables and Connections

These will come in handy for those of us who like to keep extra cables away from computing devices. The price is higher than I would like, I can buy more later if I find a better price. The product itself is great.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Mostly Good, But...

Finally a way to use all those leftover power cords.

Does what it should. I now have a collection of short (6ft) power strips suitable for low power applications. Surprised to see that "Transparency" and "Thickness" are the two parameters to be evaluated.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automation

Bought for use at work

Sometimes when you need to power a device and can't find an outlet but PDUs in IDF or MDF work these cords solve the problem and provide useful power for a standard 3-prong AC power cord.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of things

IEC power cords multiply like rabbits. Now you can use them.

Do you have boxes and bags of computer power cords lying around? Buy a pack of five of these little gems and you can convert five of them into "regular" expansions. You will sing every time you use it. That's five songs. FIVE!

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything is fine

They came in handy. I bought them for some stage lights that could be mains plugged in but it needed this cord and it took about 3 weeks from the manufacturer. Found these adapters at a lower price and with next day delivery, installed and everything is great!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Inaccurately described; they are 18 AWG wire so only rated for 10A

When I last ordered the page still says they are rated for 13A which means they are still 16 AWG. The packages that arrived had the expected part number but stated an 18 AWG wire (which is rated for 10A, not 13A). Going back to the product description page, I see that they added a comment at the bottom of the notes (below the comparison) that they are 18AWG. While the new ones still look solid enough, don't buy them if you expect to be able to plug in something that uses a lot of power hereโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I've been checking in my drawer of computer power cords that I've probably had since I was 14. I just can't throw them away. I thought it wouldn't be great if I could turn them into extension chords. At first I thought I'd just cut off the end and add a socket. Then I looked around Revain and found this. This is what I was looking for if I could now meet someone who would like to buy about 100 extensions from 5ft to 9ft. Until then, at least I don't have to buy extensions shorter than 50 or 100

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • It's hard to say

On my most recent order the page still says they are rated for 13A which means they are still 16 AWG . designed for 10A, not 13A). Going back to the product description page, I see that they added a comment at the bottom of the notes (below the comparison) that they are 18AWG. While the new ones still look solid enough, don't buy them if you expect to be able to plug in something that uses a lot of power here; The cable is not designed for currents over 10A.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not sure

I was looking at my drawer of PC power cords, which I've probably been collecting since I was 14 years old. Until then, at least I don't have to buy extensions shorterโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Audio and video accessories
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

These well-folded cords come in handy. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I probably don't abuse these cables, but I bought these cables mainly because I needed a few so they could help me with my outdoor electric bike charger. and use my ebay. I was able to get hold of some C-13 power cords and thought ๐Ÿ’ญ to use some to build my e-bike so I can save the limited amount of cords I have for other projects. The main problem is that I only have 2 3 pin sockets and need them mostly for AC related devices and I was thinking ๐Ÿ’ญ of using multiple power cords for DC relatedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Accessories & Supplies
Cons
  • Only available in white
