My pup loves the doorbell

It only took my pup a few tries to use it. I think she likes being able to push the button to pick me up so she can get out. My 15 year old dog refuses to use it. They are both Shih Tzu.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons

The dog doorbell is great

I put her outside on the back door so my rough haired griffin would let me know she wants to come back inside. You are cool. She no longer scratches my storm doors dirty.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Couldn't resist - doorbells

The system is really nice and I was hoping I'd like it but unfortunately the batteries can run low and the doorbells stop ringing very quickly. My dog rings the hanging silver doorbells very well and cannot get through to the doorbell with the contactor.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

2 weeks and potty trained

I rate this product as a BUY! 10 week old puppy is potty trained and I am a happy pet parent. For the first week I had to use a dog's nose or paw to ring a bell. I used the word "potty" every time we rang the bell. We made a big good deal every time he insisted.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Neutral

Not for potty training

Not for potty training for three main reasons: 1. The receiver's speaker needs to be plugged into an outlet and therefore cannot be portable.2. The remote control does not work when approached, the dog must touch it physically.3. Standard sounds are useless for learning: they either mimic other common sounds or are long melodies. I'm sure they flagged this as a search algorithm learning tool.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never

Sensor doesn't recognize my dog's touch

I love everything about this product EXCEPT ONE VERY IMPORTANT ONE. The sensor does not recognize the touch of my dogs. Trying to teach her that is very difficult because she can't make the doorbell ring! She tries everything! She will touch him, lick him, bite him, even fondle him, and the doorbell won't ring 5/10 times. I wanted to touch it to try ringing the doorbell and found I had to touch it under the bone and with at least three fingers. 1 or 2 fingers are not enough for the sensor. That

Good product so far

I was a bit nervous when I received this product with a (very unspecific) review but I went for it. I liked its looks and the fact that it comes with two buttons and two receivers. I've only had him for a few days and as far as my pup's intelligence goes, I think he'll pick it up pretty quickly. As for the actual product, so far so good. It has a ton of different sounds, some of which sound very familiar. They're basically like songs and play a little bit of ditties. The one I chose was the…
