Good Quality: Kitchen & Dining

Love this brand, quality pans, easy to clean but I wouldn't recommend anything other than scratchy plastic or silicone utensils.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • May damage

Do not buy. fits cookware sets

These pots and pans look great! I love them except when I'm washing my new $500 pots and pans I notice dirty water getting in and out of the lids easily. rough

Scratches - no quality. So disappointed!

I'm so disappointed! You are so soft! Two are scratched, and in one I only used a wooden spoon! In the other I used a metal spoon which should be fine. They should replace the old ones of the same brand that have been scratched over the years. Definitely not the same quality. Only from mid-December.

  • I'm looking forward to

  • High price

I would not recommend this product.

For a long time I liked Calphalon cookware, but it seems that its quality has diminished over time. I've only been using this set for a month and it became apparent that there was a quality issue. Lids retain water and debris without the ability to remove water and debris. (See photos and videos.) I only washed dishes by hand with soap, water, and a kitchen towel.

Well deserved praise

These pans are amazing. The heat distribution is excellent, nothing sticks. All pans are easy to clean while they're still warm, but be aware that food will stick to them after they've completely cooled. It's not a problem, a quick soak in the sink wipes everything off easily. I made it a habit to clean it a few minutes after taking it off the heat because at that point it's much easier to clean it with a soft cloth. I should have switched to Calfalon many years ago. The grips are stylish, look

I really like this line, I hope the manufacturer makes it

Bought 13 months ago. This was my first "expensive" cookware set, I also bought some missing Calphalon utensils to complete my set. I have been married for a total of 31 years and cook at least 2 meals a day. Gaskets on one of the covers are clearly bad. I contacted Calphalon to see if they would replace it. I will update my review when I get a reply from them or when I get a new cap. I always hand wash, never soak, dry immediately. I've been happy for over a year. I hope they live up to their…

These pans scratch too easily (no metal used)

We ordered this set because we have benefited greatly from the previous Calphalon pan, but this pan started to lose its non-stick finish after 2-3 years . Although these new pans are labeled safe for use in metal utensils and in the dishwasher, we have established house rules to ensure they last as long as possible: wooden and silicone utensils only, and hand wash only. Do not use metal utensils, in less than a month these pans are already showing scratches on the non-stick coating. I want to…

I'm sending them back.

I have had Caphelon hard anodized pots/pans for 13 years. I love her so much I can't kill her. You can cut straight into it. The only downside was that they couldn't be washed in the dishwasher. Anyway, I figured I'd treat myself to an expensive new set and reckon it would last another 10 years. I received them and they look good. I packed and threw away the packaging! Big mistake. When I cooked for the first time, I took off the lid and burned it with my hands. Couldn't believe the handle got…

A must for hobby cooks

Wow, I've wanted to buy a great pan set for a long time. I have lived with a hodgepodge of inherited and purchased frying pans of varying quality and this was the first time I had bought my own set. Since I cook most of the dishes myself every evening and am always in the kitchen, I did a lot of research on the internet. They're really well built, what I like is that they're oven friendly too, which is great for those dishes that need to be moved from the stovetop to the oven. The big pot is…
