🚰 Camco 50ft Premium Drinking Water Hose (21009) - Lead-Free, Anti-Kink Design, 20% Thicker, 5/8" Inner Diameter Review

I have done my homework and am very disappointed in Camco. Check out the photos. I have other Camco camping products so I bought these with confidence, I was very wrong. After FIRST use I noticed the hose was bulging in 5 different places. It wasn't water, it was the outer plastic coating that had buckled. Thank god I noticed that. I will no longer order hoses from Camco. My cheap replacement 10-25 foot hydration tube works much better. If you're doing research, avoid it.

I bought this hose because I liked the idea of a safe drinking water hose that didn't give the water a rubbery taste. The hose is stiff compared to rubber hoses but I expected that and was willing to put up with it given the safe drinking feature. Bought 10 months ago. At first it seems ok, just a little stiff. Now used 14 times every 2-3 weeks with our new 5th wheel. Each time the hose became more and more stiff and difficult to wind and unwind. The water filter cartridge was clogged the last time it was used. I don't understand why I researched and found a lot of gray particles clogging it. Then I came back and found that the culprit was the hose. I bought this hose in 2016 and only replaced it 3 years later. I originally bought it for my garden and I also liked the color and the price. It really buckles after the first year and it got worse over time. For the money I think it was worth it for a decent looking hose that doesn't feel like an eyesore. I also want to know that it is safe drinking water that I am using to irrigate my garden and not adding any chemicals. Last time I bought 2 hoses of 50ft and hooked them up. I'm buying 4 this
