    Good Design - Accessory

    I had a fairly old Hawg and wanted a new one because I liked the size and layout. This one is way better with all the new designs. The low profile hydration bladder with a detachable hydration tube on the hydration bladder is a great feature that saves you from having to insert and remove the tube every time.

    Monumental Flaw: No Bottom Compression Straps

    This would probably be the perfect hydration pack if it weren't for the missing bottom compression straps. All of their other models seem to have it (even their female model of the same set) as well as this pack's main competitor, the Osprey Raptor 14. This little oversight is actually a monumental mistake because it doesn't kill the versatility while making sense of the volume of max. This omission seems so arbitrary.

    LARGE - lots of water, fits my DSLR!

    Great upgrade for my old 10 year old bagless Camelbak. I walk in parks with young children, and now I have the opportunity to pour 2-3 liters of water and never finish. I was happy that I have enough space for my DSLR and the number of storage bags is always a must. When cycling, I like the zippered pockets in the front strap so I can play music or take calls without having to take off my pack. This is a 2019 product and the Camelbak designers have nailed the point guys great job!

    Not sure I like the new hydration bladder

    Bought this to replace my original Hawg. The bladder is a bit harder to fill compared to the old one. I use this in my work car for ice water throughout the day while driving. It's also packed in case I need to get out of the vehicle and survive on my own in an emergency. If you sit in the seat next to me, it has to be positioned correctly, otherwise you'll breathe when you swallow. I understand this is not rated for water supply but my old one worked fine. Otherwise I didn't have enough time…

    I had at least a dozen camels. This one is very well designed, very durable and finally has a 1 inch waistbelt making it a great hiking and daypack as well as mountain biking. Camelbak doesn't just cover its backpacks for life. There may be some quality control issues. here and there, but they're the best at what they do. A low back 100 ounce bag is much better than a high bag as it puts all the load on your hips, reducing pack sway and taking the weight off your shoulders. I highly recommend…
