I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

The lens was purchased in 2022 in Hong Kong from wing sing photo supplies in Mongkok. The price tag was HK$7480, but I ended up getting it for HK$5900. I still didn’t understand what it was - the absence of a tax like a non-resident, or just the seller wanted to show that he was so kind and generous. The Chinese . As for the glass itself, I have long wanted a macro, money appeared and I was in a place where prices are much tastier than 2022 retail and I am happy like an elephant. Despite the…

    Pros
    • + Razor sharp. Very good sharpness already from 2.8. + Stabilizer. The result of the work is impressive - from the hands and at 1/15 it turns out fine (not macro) + Focus distance limiter speeds up the process + Dust and moisture protection +Heavy hit + No moving trunks - when focusing, the dimensions of the lens do not change and the front element does not rotate.
    Cons
    • -Stabilizer. Yes, it works great at slow shutter speeds, but it introduces blur at short shutter speeds (1/250 and shorter), when there is no longer a need for it, but they forgot to turn it off. - Canon's standard soft case (I have three L's and they all have identical cases) is not a very practical thing. For that kind of money, they could make a semi-rigid one, not a plug, after all, on a bayonet. -The lens hood is very long and, when turned upside down in the stowed position, almost completely covers the focus ring.

I have been using this lens since 2022. I use it mainly for standard macro (insects, snails, dew / drops, flowers, etc.), where a scale of more than 1: 1 is not required. The minimum focal length for macro is generally sufficient, although especially shy "models" may fly away or run away. Sharpness is good, autofocus is fast and (almost always) accurate, although it is better to shoot the same dew and static objects in manual mode, after setting the camera on a tripod (and also turning off the…

    Pros
    • 1. Excellent sharpness and color reproduction. 2. Fast and accurate autofocus. 3. Focus distance range switch. 4. Stabilization. 5. Increased level of protection against water and dust. 6. Hood and case included. 7. Versatility (can be used not only for macro photography).
    Cons
    • For seven years, I have not found any shortcomings, everything is still fine. Good and reliable lens.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I am happy with the lens; it produces wonderful portraits and has quick and precise focus. I preferred the Zeiss 100/2 macro, but it is much more expensive and does not have autofocus, which is essential for many. Of course, you won't get a close-up of a fly's eye, but the MP-E65 lets you to take fully functional pictures at 1/25 (as long as the subject isn't a macro), and I don't think you'll regret it.:)

    Pros
    • Fast, precise, and reasonably priced, 2.8 is a great working hole!
    Cons
    • With the native lens hood attached, it is cumbersome and impossible to put on, making it impossible to twist the polarizer as well. It occasionally makes ominous noises while auto-refocusing, as if it's about to be covered:) The focus could be lost in a dimly lit space.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

    Initially, I took this lens for dental photography (photo-registration of teeth during dental treatment), page=0 page=0 page=0 page=0 Macro: page=3 page=0 page=0 page=0

    Pros
    • - USM motor autofocus speed - fractions of a second! (when shooting through the optical viewfinder) - The image stabilizer allows you to take sharp pictures even for 1/8 second, - Impressive view.
    Cons
    • I’ it was alarming, but as it turned out, when focusing through the LCD, However, the nature of the lens.

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

In principle, everyone has already said about it :-) And the fact that it is very sharp, On the other hand, it' Ru/get/6610/27071204.1a/0_93714_d72bb0a8_ In this case, a 180 The sharpness and detail is amazing! When you see every hair, Excellent drawing and bokeh DOF is certainly small But those who know what the diaphragm is for, I think they will bypass this drawback) In general, it is better not to find!

    Pros
    • Very sharp even at 2.8, position focus limiter

I took this lens on a crop (EOS 60D), as two in one: You look at the first photo taken: sharp, juicy colors, you can shoot handheld for 1/20 sec. (! ), And this is on the crop! (For example, my 50mm f/1.4 and 1/80 smears often) In most cases, f/2.8 Test photos:

    Pros
    • - Sharp at F / 2.8 (! ); - Excellent color reproduction and contrast; - The stabilizer is very useful; - Lack of XA at F / 2.8; - Build quality: everything is neat, clear, and there is nothing to complain about; - 3 distance switches (this is very convenient and the lens focuses quickly); - Beautiful bokeh - circles, not nuts; - Excellent macro (I admire); - The hood is hefty: on the one hand, you can’t put on a protective cover without removing the hood, and on the other hand, such a hood protects the lens well from splashes, dust, etc . ; - Adequacy of the price.
    Cons
    • Very shallow depth of field at f / 2.8, but the design of this lens.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

I recommend. Has some pros My favorite lens, one of the best in the L series. Aperture, sharpness, the picture is cool. I’ve been using my mind for several years, I’m not overjoyed, I shoot almost everything on it. Even 50/1.2 couldn't outshine it. I practically did not shoot macro, I use it exclusively for a portrait. Excellent price. Different cons: Rather, the features of this model are heavy, zoom - you have to walk a lot)))))) The only thing I still couldn’t get used to, when autofocusing,

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Oddly enough, I didn’t take this lens for macro at all, but purely for portraiture and reporting. Macro is really amazing, of course, sometimes I "play around", but so far this is a new direction for me, requiring certain skills and experience. Numerous reviews predicted some kind of super-sharpness, which supposedly would be bad for female portraits. To be honest, I did not notice anything supernatural here. The detail is excellent, but it is not "oversaturated" with sharpness. The only thing

    Pros
    • -Build quality; -Image quality; - Tenacious and accurate focus; -Excellent stabilizer; -A light weight
    Cons
    • Not found

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

Got pros: What can I tell you about the Makrik from Canon 100mm with the letter L, it’s just a topper among lenses, I switched from an old Tamron 90mm, in terms of speed, heaven and earth + there is a stub, but I don’t need it =) it was only available, the question the money was not, so I took it without thinking. I am very pleased, my colleague, following me, also ated; he had a weaving without the letter L, bought 12 years ago, of course, he was also delighted with this model, they took it ex

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great product, best quality.

I use it not so much for macro as for everyday shooting - architecture, landscapes. Interesting in portrait shooting - good skin relief, specificity. But it's like someone - if you want glamorous look for soft focus. With its pros. The lens is "hard" - high definition, when you zoom in on the subject, the dust can be counted. It focuses clearly and quickly, although I prefer manual mode. Some cons: Do not expect "fantastic" results from the stabilizer, everything is as always - the best…

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

This is my first macro lens. In this regard, I have nothing to compare it with. I've been using it for 60d for about a year. Macro is amazing. But do not expect that since there is a stabilizer, then a tripod is not needed. The stabilizer is a useful thing, but rather when shooting non-macro scenes. The autofocus speed is a little slower than, say, the 24-70L, but overall it's very fast. In the twilight, it focuses quite confidently and accurately (filmed a concert). It is convenient that there

    Pros
    • The red stripe and the letter L speaks for itself. A sharp, convenient focal length on the crop (bumblebee wasps and similar stingers are large, but at a safe distance), aperture and stabilizer.
    Cons
    • Basically, they don't exist. If only you want to see a tripod ring in the kit.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

No backlashes on my pyadvak; the lens hood also sits without backlash. Thanks to this lens, I took some decent macro shots, exhibited in the Canon Club gallery, look there. Since I bought it first with a carcass, at first I was perverted - I shot architecture, landscapes, and portraits. And it worked out very well :). Greetings to all 2022s from St. Petersburg!

    Pros
    • 1. For such quality, the price is too low. Hole 2.8 + stub + build quality + picture quality = a photographer's dream. 2. Ideal macro lens: the minimum distance from the beetle to the front lens is 14 cm, do not be scared. 180mm - it's already difficult to shoot without a tripod, 65 - you have to sneak up too close. 3. You can shoot without a tripod, with flash. 4. Ideal character portraits are obtained - all wrinkles, scars, moles, hair are clearly visible. 5. 67mm filters are not the most expensive.
    Cons
    • 1. Too many people can buy. 2. This lens cannot be tolerated by women of Balzac age - all the flaws are clearly visible. Be merciful.

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

Analogues used: Canon EF-S 60 mm F/2.8 USM macro, Canon TS-E 90 mm F/2.8 shiftA wonderful macro lens. My first L-ka. When I bought it, the seller had only one copy. I took pictures - like nothing, everything was fine. I came home - some unpleasant uneven spring sound came out. I was amazed, like, when I bought it, there was nothing like it. I went to Begovaya, they checked it, they said everything is in order, this is how autofocus works. Wow!? Didn't think it was that loud! Maybe I got such a…

    Pros
    • Image quality, fix, aperture, stabilizer.
    Cons
    • Barely noticeable play of the focus ring. The autofocus engine, somehow, too loudly, works loudly - maybe I got such a copy ?!

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Great lens from Canon! You can shoot both macro 1:1 (the image of the subject on the matrix will be the same size as in life), and portraits with a beautifully blurred background due to the 9-blade rounded aperture. Very fast and accurate autofocus and amazing stabilizer! At normal distances, it gives 4 stops to shutter speed, and allows you to take clear handheld shots at shutter speeds up to 1/20 sec! At macro, two to three stops, depending on the magnification. There were a few mentions of…

    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality! It is very sharp at full aperture, not much worse than the maximum quality that is achieved at f5.6-f8. Great for portraits! High-quality construction, dust protection, sits perfectly on the mount, nothing backlash.
    Cons
    • The native hood from the kit dangles slightly on the lens. Cannot be used with extenders 1.4; 2.0 in contrast to the same 180 macro.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Those who are going to shoot inanimate objects in the studio will not have any particular difficulties, provided that you know how to use a tripod, macro rails and other shnyags a little bit. And now I appeal to those who are going to shoot any living creatures. This lens is not a technique for beginners. For when shooting in nature at fr less than 50 mm, it is not so much the accurate autofocus that decides, but the directness of the hands and the ability to firmly hold the camera in your…

    Pros
    • Ideal for macro photography both in the studio and outdoors. The optics are perfectly debugged, there is no distortion in almost the entire focus range. I was pleased with the possibility of limiting the focusing range and manual focus adjustment. The stabilization is excellent, it allows you to take good pictures already at a shutter speed of 1/80, even at maximum zoom. Overall, he's great. I look forward to spring.
    Cons
    • The price is somewhat biting (although I saved up somehow).

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Awesome lens! I use it for macro photography, creating product catalogs and just shooting. On the crop (550D), of course, you can’t click at full height, but the portraits are simply Magnificent! The stabilizer and aperture allow you to shoot handheld even in low light conditions. In general, praises can be sung endlessly, there is only one verdict - if you have the opportunity to purchase this lens, then take it without a shadow of a doubt!

    Pros
    • + Execution + The whole set of L'ki: moisture / dust protection + Nimble AF + Versatility: first you shoot a spider and examine each hair, and after 5 seconds you already make a portrait with amazing detail, and no lens changes) + Pathos red ring +100500 to CHSV
    Cons
    • Not seen.

Excellent packaging of the goods, the goods are safe and sound, all documents are attached. Autofocus slows down, even in good lighting conditions it doesn’t work right away, I would say every other time, plus it’s not sharp enough, especially when compared with 24mm efs. I don’t know if this is a cant or it should be so, if someone answers or shares their experience, I will be grateful.

    Pros
    • Warranty two years. Cast quality product.
    Cons
    • So far not identified.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I have been using it on 1Dsmk2 since the summer of 2022. What I want to note right away is the new stabilization system. I was skeptical about this system until I tried it. In short, the new system allows you to compensate for two types of fluctuations at once. Angular and Parallel. (angular - tilts, parallel - vertical camera shift) In practice, this gives a chic result, the lens has an angular velocity sensor that cooperates with an acceleration sensor - a tandem of two comrades allows you

    Pros
    • -Stab allows with hands -A light weight -Versatility, paradoxical as it sounds! -AF is accurate and noticeably faster compared to the first 100/2.8. - Slag protection.
    Cons
    • Feeling that you squeeze a little harder - and crack =) But this is only at the level of sensations . Black plastic is pleasant to the touch. It creates suspicions of the fragility of the lens, however, according to comrades from Canon, this plastic belongs to the type of Engineering plastics, designed to withstand good loads.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

According to first impressions, of course, there are more positive emotions from this lens, but there are also negative ones. I was a little disappointed with autofocus, this is my first USM, and I confess I expected more from it. It turned out that it works noticeably loudly and not as fast as they write about it in the reviews. In low light, for example, in a room with the lights on, it takes a very long time to catch focus. In this regard, the PZD tamron motor is much better, it works both

    Pros
    • Aperture High sharpness Design and workmanship Macro is simply amazing. not a bad stabilizer
    Cons
    • The price is too high, however, like all kenon lenses Atofocus - disappointed Weight - a bit heavy in my opinion

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Took for macro photography. As a macro lens, the glass is extremely impressive. Just what was missing for filming in less than 1: 1 mode. After 24-105/4 with macro rings and MP-E 65 it took some time to get used to the way he draws. The lens design is nice. Aperture 32 is especially pleasing, which gives a good depth of field at maximum magnifications. At 2.8 at maximum magnification, it is almost impossible to keep focus with your hands, the depth of field is a couple of millimeters. A nice…

    Pros
    • Good picture quality, versatility when shooting flowers / goats. Aperture 31.
    Cons
    • Backlash focus ring.
