Type of review

An excellent lens, among those similar in focal length, but also in size / If you take the EOS-M system, want to take it off the “carcass” except to screw the "width"))) Has pros: Excellent sharpness at all apertures, little XA, compact, quiet, fast and inexpensive. Some cons: The only thing that can be written as "cons" is a pronounced vignetting at any aperture, and at an open one it is so very strong.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

Still, now half a hundred is the same compact, Some 10 yes, the stub probably has nowhere to put it, but I would like a set of such compacts, and even with a stub) Pros below: HE is chic :) I love him! Well, even if not so fast, but what a fast aperture and in general) Compact, sharp, juicy, in general: wah, peach) Has some cons: Well, it's slow, it buzzes when you shoot a video, moreover, there is no stub :)

Perfect product for any user!

Ideal for the Canon EOS M200 light filter and a Canon EW-43 there is a good company for the production of non-original JJC accessories and this lens hood is marked as LH-43

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

Has pros: Compact, excellent photo and video quality, suitable for shooting in low light, macro shooting from 15 cm Its cons: Noisy and somewhat slow motor - sometimes it focuses slowly, there is no zoom.

The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

At the moment, the ONLY native fast prime lens in the EOS M system. If there were any other "EF-M 31mm f/1.8 STM" or "EF-M 53mm f/1.8 ST" in the system - one could argue and now this is the lens that every owner of EOS M cameras simply must have. Pros: 1. very compact; 2. high optical quality; 3. aperture; 4. a fairly universal focal length, which in many cases allows you not to take any other lenses with you; 5. inexpensive. Cons: The focus ring is very wide, it occupies almost the entire…

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Ideal for the Canon EOS M200 compact mirrorless camera. In such a bundle, the camera turns out to be as portable as possible. I bought a Canon Lens Protect 43mm light filter and a Canon EW-43 lens hood. I did not find the original lens hood, I did not buy the original. Also, there is a good company for the production of non-original JJC accessories and this lens hood is marked as LH-43

Pros
  • Compact.

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

I regret that I didn’t buy it earlier, but took pictures at 18-55, getting not very good photos. Here, many complain about the speed of autofocus and the noise of the motor. I do not consider this a disadvantage, tk. in such a tiny building it is impossible to realize all the Wishlist. The speed is not a cannon, but quite decent. Who wants to shoot video, use an external microphone (why write sound from built-in microphones at all, they are often located in the carcass, I don’t understand…

Pros
  • Size, weight, design. Relatively sharp wide open. No distortion. Metal. bayonet. The focal length is suitable for most occasions, travel and indoor shooting. On an open aperture, it blurs the background, not like fifty dollars, but still not bad. Small MDF. With this lens, the fotik climbs into a jacket pocket) The price, especially on the secondary, can be taken for ten.
Cons
  • Tiny lenses, which are not solid and give a strong vignette (edited with a carcass or in lightroom). Drop in sharpness at the edges on heavily covered apertures, i. E. for architecture, the lens is not very good. HA (also edited in lightroom, but not always good, for example, if the person in the photo is wearing purple clothes). Rare (even for Ali) 43 mm filters, from the protective ones I found only a couple of offers.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I have been using the EF-M system for a long time. I have always been pleased with its compactness and low weight. However, before buying this lens, I had no idea that a camera with a lens could be so compact. Canon M6 with this lens fits into any pocket, no need to carry even a small purse. The lens itself is awesome. The main scourge of the EF-M series lenses is aperture. This lens is the second fastest in the series, while it is more than two times cheaper than the fastest lens. The picture…

Pros
  • Compactness, sharpness, contrast, weight, price, picture quality
Cons
  • retractable inner "barrel" of the lens

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

An excellent lens, for very little money for the set of parameters that it has and the picture that it gives to its owner. Perhaps the best in general, among those similar in focal length, which is available on the EOS M. Competitors will lose not only in price at times, but also in size / weight and image quality. At the same time - an exceptionally demanded focal length. If there were even less vignetting . but this is not one of the irreparable shortcomings. If you take the EOS-M system…

Pros
  • Excellent sharpness at all apertures, little XA, compact, quiet, fast and inexpensive.
Cons
  • The only thing that can be written as "cons" is a pronounced vignetting at any aperture, and at an open one it is so very strong.

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought a Canon EOS M with two lenses: this pancake and zoom 18-55 | 3.5-5.6. I use it very often with it, although the second one is also good. In general, EOS M is clearly underestimated in our country. Everyone was seduced by reviews in which slow focus is vividly described and behind this somehow a high-quality picture is forgotten at the output. The focus problem was solved by the new firmware and the result was a compact camera with an excellent lens, which is always with you.

Pros
  • Great lens: small, sharp, with a beautiful picture. There are simply no analogues in other systems, in my opinion. At least in the price range three times its price.
Cons
  • No.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

As a lover of Canon photography and the owner of a 5D Mark III, I decided to buy a compact camera and took the only mirrorless camera from Canon at that time, complete with two lenses 22mm and 18-55mm, a flash and an adapter for EF lenses. Fortunately, at that time firmware 2.02 had already been released, in which the focusing speed was increased and I was satisfied with the operation of the camera, unlike those who wrote devastating reviews on carcasses with previous versions. EF-M 22 F2.0…

Pros
  • Sharp in the open, good background blur, compact, metal body
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet.
