Great product, great deal and a free surprise too!

What a deal! I bought them to use as stocking fillers for Christmas. They are heavy and don't feel cheap. The real metal is used to break the window and cut the seat belt. They look like they can do what they're supposed to do! They also gave me a magnetic phone mount for my car for free! Hooray! I love free stuff! This is the type that connects to the vent and it would have cost me about $10. This is definitely a positive purchase!

It seems the weight is more than enough to break the window.

Thank god I haven't had to use this yet, but the seat belt scissors are so sharp you can probably shave with them. The weight seems more than enough to break a window. Again, perfect for emergencies and if you're thinking about buying more for my nieces and other relatives because you never know when you're going to need one of these. But as an added bonus, it comes with a phone mount/vent mount. Brilliant! This isn't a review of an air vent holder but it's the same as the ones I've boughtโ€ฆ

Easy to take off which is good.

Bought to replace an old model. The most important thing for me (besides that it works) is that it's accessible and shows up when you need it! The problem I had with my old device was that it was quite difficult to get it out of the plastic case. in. So I started looking for a new one. That's good since there are two. I would recommend two per car but for now I will be using one per car. The best part is the 'lift' tab at the top which makes it very easy to take off and while the plastic caseโ€ฆ

Aren't you paranoid about everything going right?

You become a parent and you become super paranoid about safety. I don't remember dying that many times when I was little, but my parents definitely did! And the car is no better. Oh yes, my current car is light years ahead of my parent's station wagon in terms of safety performance (there were no rear seat belts in my day), but still terrible things can happen and why not buy something that makes you feel better about yourself in the hope that you never have to use it. Best buy ever (?)! Thisโ€ฆ
