DO NOT BUY Bike GPS Units

This mount is terrible. DO NOT BUY THIS. After 15 minutes, not the first time, I hit a small dent and the mount came loose and destroyed my phone. I am of very poor quality.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Appearance

A new way of attaching a GPS to a bike

A clever way to attach a GPS and slide it out in front of the bike handlebars. Lots of adapters for different types of devices. The device holder has a comfortable viewing angle for easy viewing of the device. (see photos). This varies from bike to bike depending on the stem angle.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • No performance

Great fit for my bike. suitable for GPS, viewfinder and accessories

Since my bike has the derailleur next to my neck, this was the best solution for mounting my iPhone. I like it. Deducted 1 star because the screws were not a standard neck size. NONE of my bikes have ever been that small. never mind Home Depot had large hex head screws of the same length in the mounting bracket (in boxes).

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Some problems

Reliable and simple product

Reliable and simple product. All the details in the item description were included and arrived on time. The extended mount is very light and easily attaches to my road bike. The supplied rubber straps for mobile phones are also good. An Allen key is required to install the bike and it only took a few minutes.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • No paint required

Bad quality!: Sports & Handheld GPS

I put 2⭐️ because it took 2 weeks. The screw attached to the bracket broke off while driving. It's good that I have a good case for my iphone and didn't bump into my phone. I use it on my road bike. Imagine him riding a mountain bike on dirt trails. That takes less than 2 hours. This trailer is a waste of money. I would not recommend this mount to anyone.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Repair

The plastic insert that holds the phone

The plastic insert that my iPhone snaps into broke while driving causing my phone to fall out and hit the road breaking the phone's glass . While the carbon fiber component feels solid, the plastic inlay holding the phone is unreliable. The thin plastic strap is not strong enough as shown in the photo. The insert broke due to vibration and caused damage to my phone. Can't recommend this design.

Pros
  • broke understandably even for the old one
Cons
  • There are problems

Excellent mount for the price

I like this phone mount, the installation was quite easy. I just had to get another phone case because I have a plug and magnetic mount for my car so there is no room for what comes with it. I only wish they had used better tape, I was going on a trip and hit a bump in the road and my phone flew off so as soon as I got home I took my own 3M tape, remade the mount and worked better than before.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • communication with seller

But works as advertised.

While this works as advertised, be aware that the hardware provided will not work as advertised on high end bikes. As the owner of several expensive bikes (I bought this for one of my Cervelo rides) I can tell you that expensive bikes don't typically use 5mm bolts. They use 6mm screws. However, I was willing to try it because it's the only phone mount I could find that mounts on the front. When I got the bracket I quickly drilled holes for the posts to make them wide enough for the 6mm screws…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Suits me!: Cycling GPS

I wanted to quickly attach my iPhone to my bike for exercise and map apps. I tried other options when the phone was placed behind the wheel and I didn't like looking down that far and taking my eyes off the road. This mount pushes the phone forward where I can safely view it and - bonus - where the phone's LED flashlight faces the road, which is great for when the batteries in my bike lights are getting low. I used a flashlight holder which is mediocre but I still haven't bought one for it. The

Pros
  • Sports and portable GPS
Cons
  • boring packaging

Broke on second road bike ride with iPhone

I used this mount on two road bike rides and on my second ride it broke on the plastic bracket. I hit a bump and heard a crack, and three minutes later my phone fell off its cradle. The "hoof" part that attaches to your phone attaches to a round lip that screws into the carbon fiber base. The whole round lip came off as seen in my photo. If you're driving on pristine roads I doubt this will be a problem, but if there are any bumps or potholes, good luck. Make sure you have a phone case with you

Pros
  • Bike GPS Navigators
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
